So disappointing to see the price tag and yet how basic it is. TRD trim levels should always have the sliding rear window, power seats, and bed outlets. Toyota created a newer version that somehow needed up more basic than the 3rd gen….. unless you pay even more than the already higher price.
All that cost and not even an electric drivers side seat ??

Always a good review but once again almost 45,000 dollars for a 4 cylinder 2 wd drive truck is gonna slow the sales of these trucks. So disappointing.

With the price I think they are going to lose the position of #1 mid size truck. Sad because it's nice looking but so NOT worth it with it's price tag. Nissan Frontier anyone?

It's Amazing they make this truck in Pearl White (Which looks Absolutely Gorgeous)yet the only ones you see are Ice Cap. Also if you buy this Truck you have to get the Premium Sport Package + $8,620 well worth the money.
To many packages to get options that you want and the cost is way to high!!!
😢 This TuRD has lost its way. Too big, Bulky and Thirsty to be a nice economical small truck. Annd too Small and Gutless to get any actual work done .😢 And for the Ridiculous price it's no wonder the Maverick is outselling it. And throw in that the front diffs are breaking like Cheap Glass its a Hard pass.... Epic fail.

Jeff, I wish the Tacomas had a panoramic roof option.
It looks to me like the hood scoop has pockets that will trap water. If so, that is a terrible design. I would not buy a Sport for that reason alone
for the price it is so basic, not happy with the design on this new tacoma.
2024 frontier is a lot cheaper with the same features

@@theebalz Both the Ford Ranger engines are turbocharged... you aren't getting away from turbos by going to Ford... Besides, Toyota has had turbo engines in non-US markets for decades now. Turbocharging is not new to Toyota. With that said, both the older Ford Ranger and Toyota Tacoma 4 cyl non turbo engines, as well as 6 cyl are known for their reliability.
@joearnold1843 I don't want additional parts I have to maintain. If Toyota wants to put a 250k engine & tranny warranty on these I'll reconsider. However tge tried and true normally aspirated V8 was a MUCH better engine. FORD give you the option. TOYOTA does NOT!
