It is fairly lamentable: TH-cam failed to show me videos of your new channel when you were posting more, but today I finally got a video of yours suggested from 2 years ago now. That being said, you talk about how things are so easy for us, but I guess I also got complacent in having TH-cam do all of the work to show new videos when they come out, but then ended up missing them. I am sad I am a bit late to these videos, but they are really good! Naturally this one is a tough subject, especially in retrospect with Gus having passed away, but it is something we indeed have become a bit complacent with as a society. Anxiety is a really devious beast. However the best way to deal with it (as well as many modern day problems) is to get back to being more community orientated. I think for many people, anxiety flurishes when they are more isolated, and anxiety isolates them further, creating a vicious cycle. That is where good friends and family come in. Having someone to give us a 'sanity check' of sorts really is helpful. Said another way, we used to share burdens more across community. One of my university professors shared a story of his struggle with anxiety with me once: He said that he was having lunch with friends, went to the washroom, and when he came back to the table, everyone was laughing amoungst themselves. He couldn't help but feel they were laughing at him while he was gone. Eventually everyone left but his closest friend and he asked: "This will sound strange, but please bear with me and give me a straight answer: When I came back to the table, was everyone laughing about me?" His friend so "No", and told him the story they were laughing about, and reasured him. He could then breath a sigh of relief as he knew that was the case all along, but needed certainty to bannish his anxiety. I can't speak for your situation obviously, but hopefully in the couple of years since this video you are doing much better, able to find a bit more happiness, and you get back to doing videos in this kind of format again as well :)
Really sad to hear about the condition of your dog. whenever I cannot fix things and if it is beyond my capacity to do anything to save life I surrender to almighty, the supreme Lord of everything. hope the God bestows his graces to make sorrow disappear from your life. Hare krishna
Stay strong ❤❤❤

The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts - Marcus Aurelius. You'll be as happy as you allow yourself to be.
