I’ve been watching overland TH-cam videos to relax for years, especially during Covid when I was in the hospital call rooms. Don’t worry about the few haters in the comments. You’re doing God’s work. Coming from the other side actually making videos and editing…it’s also work, people hating have no idea how hard it is to shoot footage, drive, edit, plan trips. It’s a real job. The service part is even when I don’t have the energy to go out and do it myself now, I can come home after a long day and be transported there with you when I relax on the couch with my feet up.
Anyways I say at that to say thanks for all that you do…the editing is sweet, loving the drone shots and all the little things in your videos, super polished and professional. Keep it up.
THIS IS AWESOME....As are those Ice cubes... LOL!!!!!! That area looks AMAZING..
It’s nice to see a fire started without a butane torch for a change
Amazing video! Watching your videos makes me to buy a Bronco and explore the nature! I enjoyed the whole experience and your friend looks so friendly and a good man to take for this type of trips!
I just really appreciate that I am not the only one who likes to roll up to camp and make an Old Fashioned. I also really like how simple the bronco build is, I can always respect a clean build like that. Loved the vid keep up the great work!
Is it even camping without an old fashioned!? Haha! And thank you. I like to keep things pretty minimal and only pack what I need
You are right Sahun is a good guy, I see him in his own videos and in everyone else's only a real good guy would you see with everyone.
One of the most genuine and awesome people I know. Few people love adventure more than him
Cool to see you linked up with Shaun great episode.
Loved the cinematography in this one. Really great adventures. Loved that we got to experience the trail at the same time as you and your buddy. Pre-scouted adventures are not as fun behind the wheel or behind the keyboard.
Really digging the natural sounds with the drone shots.
I'm not tired of the adds at all. A minute or two of add time is well worth it. Gotta pay your bills bud. Haha. Haters gonna hate. Fantastic video. Great music, quality, and editing. I can't imagine how much post-production work goes into videos like this. Earned a sub. Thank you! Thank you both.
Thanks man! Yeah it’s a lot of work but I feel so lucky that this is what I get to do with my life right now
awesome video you can tell you put alot of time in your videos and it shows keep up the good work!🤘
Man what a video! Loved it and suscribed right now! Keep rocking
Hey this is Nolan at Mammoth Overland. LOVED chatting with you when you dropped of the trailer. You are a real down to earth guy and I love your channel. Dont listen to haters, the biggest thing is if they hate something they dont have to watch it. Look forward to seeing where you go brother.
Hey man it was great chatting with you too! I’m with you, nothing is forcing people to watch this stuff. Simply click away. Hope to get back up and hang out with you guys soon!
So beautiful. You are getting so so SO good with your drone, color and edits into the video. Pure magic brother❤
Thank you so much! I felt out of my element in this one honestly but I’m so glad you liked it
Thanks David. Wonderful video. You all are so lucky to live where you do. I have to drive for several days to get to anything like this. ❤❤
Love the collab! the region is amazing and one of the best kept secrets! keep up the great work and we will keep smashing the like button 😅
Thank you! This was a great time!
I love EVERYTHING about this adventure!
Loved the music less shots with the birds chirping and the water running. Gave me a relaxing kinda vibe. Great video.
Awesome that’s good to hear! It was a bold choice but I thought it was relaxing too. Thanks!
The wind, water, and birds. 👌. Try Four Roses bourbon sometime, bang for buck, it's great for cocktails.
After watching this episode with shawn....I did subscribe to your channel...guys loved this epic adventure ..awesome and beautiful river side camping....good luck for the future adventures
Great video, Just signed up to your Patreon community, The content is always fantastic.
Loved the arrival, bad 🫏. Best sounding jeep I've heard 👍🏼
Yeah that thing is mean
what an EPIC river spot! Awesome job as usual, the cinematography is amazing!
Yeah that spot is killer! Thanks
Looks like it was a great time. I share your disdain of heights! I've wanted to visit the Olympics for a long time. Perhaps I'll make it out there one day!
That washout dude! 😮😮 And those shots driving down the trail with the green grass. Magnificent! Also, custom OTG ice? WHAAAT?? 😮😮👊👊
Haha yeah my wife got those for me for my birthday! I love them! Thanks man! And yeah that washout wasn’t fun lol
Hey man I just came across your channel. Was an epic trip. Yea there were a couple close call but hey gotta take a chance every now and then. Not sure where it was that y’all were at but awesome place. From down south Louisiana here so I don’t get to see much of the type of scenery lol. I did subscribe so going took at some of your pass vids and look forward to the next ones. Safe travels man
Awesome adventure guys! For Shauns arrival you ahould of did the Jurasic park trex entrance. Havve the old fasion start to riple wotbt rhe sound of his engine 😅
Enjoyed the whole experience man. Thanks for sharing!
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL VID, MORE ADVENTURES PLEASE
Great video and camera/drone work. Now I need that rocks glass and some branded cubes lol
Looks like fun as hell! But I don't do heights/drop-offs and my old F-150 wouldn't be able to hang with you guys. Great vid Bro
I don’t either, but there I was lol
Love the video as always! This is on of your best. I do love OnX as well. This trail might be a little tight for my F150 Tremor, but my KTM 890 Adventure R would be fun, just harder to pack is stuff. Keep up the good work, and hope to see a fish caught one day 😂. Cheers
Great video again, David. I've only made a few trips over to the Olympics, but hopefully, I will get more time over there this year.
Thanks! Love the Olympics. Also great in the winter
Just want to say hi and say your Channel has give me a lot of motivation for truck camping or exploring the wilderness
I started watching the story till now and I expanded to watching other channels, I recently traded my Chrysler 300 in for a Jeep Gladiator Willys, so happy I did it.
Pimp out ice cube!.. that’s golden!
Looks like a solid vibe, I love the mtns between south of the BC Border. Hope to visit there someday, for now, it's on the list !!
Great video as always buddy.
@@SpencerHogg thanks so much man! If you ever make it down this way, I’d love to get a trip in with you
I follow your guys videos the most so it was a pleasant surprise to see the collab haha
Same!
Happy to see you grindin' up some Cutters Point. Love that stuff!
It’s so good! I love that they are a local roaster too
Great video, need to explore more off pavement out there 👌🏻 Dig the low ball 🥃🤘🏻
What a well done video! Great adventures and good friends are the keys to a great life! Looking forward to seeing more vids like this! Also, what engine does Shaun have in that Gladiator? Thing sounds beastly!
Thanks so much and I couldn’t agree more! Love getting out and getting lost with good people. He’s got a hemi of some sort. It’s pushing 600+ hp!!
So THAT'S why the gate was locked. 😁
great video! excellent camera work. beautiful country side. camping by the rivers in Washington is much different than Iowa except in the northeast part of the state where there is more stone and rock that field runoff. wondering though, how much problems you and Sean have had with vehicle breakdowns. some of the place you go would not be extra easy to be rescued.
love the branded ice cube & whiskey glass. your drone footage is really really good
Thank you to both! I worked hard on both things lol
One of my favorite river spots for your first night. Have spent many nights in the same spot. Videos are looking better for sure!
Thanks for not giving it away. My favorite spot too.
Bulletin, Pendleton and Buffalo trace are my selections. I also have the 22 big bend in the carbonized grey with the sas pkg.!👍👍. Nice video!
All three are good options. Bulleit is my go to for cocktails but felt like switching it up. Thanks man!
Another great video. Keep cranking them out. 🤙🏻🇺🇸
I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. The marketing plugs don’t bother me a bit. Keep of the good work man! The effort that goes in to videos like this is profound and incredibly time consuming. See you on the trail!
Thanks so much for that. I’m glad you enjoy this and appreciate the effort put in to these videos
I was right there on the 4th, but didn't realize the trail continued beyond the first water crossing. I thought it was just a put in.
Great clips from this adventure 🔥‼️
Thank you 🙌
Beautiful drone work. Very nice as always
Thanks!
wow those camping spots are just wow...damn, wish I was there now. Did you guys backtrack out or kept going?
I want to join you out there
By any chance could you do a short on how you make you old fashions? I’ve been craving them since I became a subscriber and dang near every place I’ve went makes them terrible. I want to do the same tradition as you to have one when you set up for camp when I eventually make my off road trip in the PNW
It might look like it hasn’t been driven in awhile. But in the snow, we’re up there almost every weekend! Easy to lose a rig at that washout area in the ice!
No effing way I’m driving that road in the snow lol
@@OFFTHEGRIND haha. Yeah! It gets gnarly brotha.
Do you post your rout anywhere? Forks is a few hours to me and the area you are in would be awesome to check out.
That was awesome!
🔥🔥 would love to adventure with yall one day
Looks like a beautiful trail man! 🔥
Beautiful and sketchy! lol
@@OFFTHEGRIND sketchy is just part of the game! lol I’ve been on sketchy trails that had crappy views! You got the W
Hey there, whats that Shade called you used in the beginning of the Video to cover your Trunk/Kitchen Area ?
Have a great Week and thanks for the Video !
Lift looks good 👌🏼
David what awning is that????
Awesome video. Love those muddy forest trails!!!
It’s the moon shade. It’s pretty sweet man I dig it. And thank you!
@@OFFTHEGRIND We need to get the Broncos together in your neck of the woods!!!!.
Loved your content more than his btw. Well done! 👏👏
Also not a huge fan of high shelf roads 😂
Thanks so much! Shelf roads, even in good conditions I hate lol. So this was rough
How much toilet paper did you have to use after that tight trail section? 🤣
ALL of it lol
That spot on the river is the best!
It’s so good!
@@OFFTHEGRIND yea we’re hitting that spot Sunday night for sure.
The bronco is nice but the jeep is just so much nicer. I have a 2020 Jeep gladiator and a 2024 bronco raptor. It’s such a tossup which one I like better love watching the video you guys got going on
As host always prescout your trails and that way you can get a route you are comfortable with before adventuring. This will allow you to take in to consideration all the capabilities of the vehicles and drivers in your party. Also helps to avoid shelf roads!!!!! I know I would. New here can't wait for more adventures!
I truly didn’t have time to. But Shaun is up for anything so I knew we could just wing it
I live here, where is that river crossing??
Those all amber lights make so happy. Now I want to change out my wife’s lights for whatever are❤
Amber is the way to go! Love the look of them!
What brand and style did you install so I can look them up and show my wife? (Also sorry for the fat thumbs and poor typing, lol)
Im going to grab that sweet drink setup ❤
DO IT!!
Is this the south fork river? Been wanting to head up there for some camping
Lol, that spider at th-cam.com/video/Uoah0jDvKto/w-d-xo.html was like "holy shit my house is on fire!"
😂
In year…. Drove it last yr. And yr before. And yr before. And before.
Doesn’t really have the same ring to it
Good vid. Logo on the ice though…just stop 😂😂
Lmao! Oh it’s so extra but it’s awesome lol
If you listen closely, you can hear Kit Badger in the background.
Love it 🥰
Hey lovely video like always. Just wanted to ask you. the color of your bronco....it's carbonized gray or the LUTs make it look like that?
Thanks so much! Yes, it is the carbonized grey
@@OFFTHEGRIND Thank you. I'm booking mine this week, and was not sure how it looks on the road, since the show roof does not have the same color model....I'm in the middle east, so it will be interesting to see how bronco performs at 50deg C and above
What’s under the hood of that jeep?
Just found you from Shawn’s video. So I’ve got to ask, as I am a bourbon and rye enthusiast, what’s your favorite?
Oh man that’s a hard question… for cocktails I like bulleit best. IMO it holds up best to added sweetness. But neat?? Too many good ones to pick a fav. Also mood dependent
@@OFFTHEGRIND good answer. Bulleit is always solid. I’ve been having a great time with Sazerac Rye for old fashioned’s, and High West Bourbon for my sours. Both are good neat too. Like you said though, def depends on the mood. Lately it’s been the Eagle Rare 10 year I’ve been sipping on.
@@The_Teddington oh dude eagle rare is so good. I also love michters. Always get excited when I see one
@@OFFTHEGRIND Michters is regularly stocked in a few variations at one of my local stops. Very good. I also may have to buy another bottle next because I haven’t had it in a while. 🤙🏼
7:23 I want that glass. Oh yeah, pork shoulder falling on the ground? No big deal, be a man and embrace your inner viking. Your ancestors had to run for hundreds of miles to kill a four legged creature in order to survive. I know you got it and I believe in you.
Getoffthegrind.com/store 😘
Not gonna lie, they’re spendy. But I’m a small creator ordering things in small batches so I did what I could. Plus, there’s an old fashioned recipe in there 😎
Do you have those whiskey cups and ice molds for sale?
The whiskey glasses I do but not the molds. Honestly, the glasses are expensive lol just cause it cost me a lot to put everything together. But it does come with my old fashioned recipe which has been said to be the best people have had soooo… worth it??
Getoffthegrind.com/store
@@OFFTHEGRIND i will purchase these soon and post it for you to see!!
@@Jpulido91 thanks so much!!
What exhaust do you have?
It is a corsa sport exhaust with the turn down tip
Hoh River drainage?
🤷🏻♂️
You see Sasquatch
Only when I saw my reflection
Great video David. You need to start trusting your rig a little more and have some real fun.
You’re not wrong. Thanks man
🏞️💯💥👍💫
The trail has a gate across it... Then this hasn't been driven in a long time. Gee ya think? The gate and all
It’s completely open from the other side
The amount of hate in the comments is insane to me…dude is just trying to showcase some cool experiences in beautiful places, and somehow it’s a problem. If you don’t like the guy’s content…don’t watch? lol
Why do guys cut fallen trees with like a bee's pube of clearance? Look at the width of your truck and add a foot each side.
Honestly id like to know that as well. We didn’t cut these otherwise we absolutely would have given us more space
Americans will use anything but the metric system 😂
But it’s true. I’ve been on so many trails where it was cut for a Jeep, and I don’t fit by just a few inches.
@RevereOverland I'm Australian. I deliberately avoided using metric so as not confuse the Americans 😄
@@stevjosco.adventures bees pubes are a globally recognized unit of measurement so we’re speaking the same language
@@stevjosco.adventures I'm glad you're looking out for them, they are definitely easily confused by centimeters and millimeters!
Not gonna lie. Getting real tired of SO MANY offroad TH-camr's shilling OnX Offroad. If I wanted info on OnX, I'd visit their web site, not sit through commercials on TH-cam only to watch commercials embedded in the video. Bailing out, as a subscriber too.
It’s how we make money to feed our families since TH-cam ads don’t pay well. I’ll let my family know you you hate them
@@OFFTHEGRIND I wish OnX worked alot better here in Canada. Open the Alberta section lol, there's like 2 trails, Waiperous and Lost Knife. Zero Mclean, nothing of any of the Southern PLUZ.
Avenza / Gaia much better for us Canadian's sadly.
@@SpencerHoggyeah onyx isn’t worth getting for us unless we want to go to a couple main areas or where a TH-camr went . Gaia definitely is the way to go if you wanna get to the good spots .
@@Alpine642 I'm a Gaia GPS fan, too. Been using it since LONG before OnX Off Road came along.
@@OFFTHEGRIND Two words: DAY JOB
It's how I feed my off-road habit. And my family. It works great. Has for centuries.
