I love the guy wearing the blue jeans while everyone else is wearing camo. I have one of those in my crew. "What is defilade?" LOL That looked fun as hell. Obviously there was a LOT of work that went into it. Every year my crew goes on our pilgrimage to the "secret island training camp" Very low tech compared to your operation. You have inspired me to ramp it up a few notches.
Cav Scout here. Found your channel a few days ago. You Jarheads are rockin' out with cocks out! Love the channel glad I subscribed. Keep 'em coming as I fear the knowledge may soon be useful to ALL. WELL DONE DEVIL DOGS!
You should never, especially when using small groups, attempt a frontal assault on fortified gun positions. For optimum effect you should use flanking movement only. The best way, according to your model would be a simultaneous assault on the north and south gun emplacements from either the east or west putting the sun to your rear and initiating when the enemy patrol returns (they will be tired and complacent). Timing is everything and surprise is key. But remember, once the rounds start to fly, even the best laid plans will inevitably go to piss.
Awesome, you guys are a trip. I'll host you guys for the 2017 Red Dawn at my place in Red River county. I haven't fired a real Russian weapon since some guy in front of me dropped his. Love your vids.
Thanks brother, were in Collin county so its actually not that far away. Participation would suffer though if we did this at another location though. All these guys live pretty local.
Commies were only good at three things: they made nice sounding anthems, they made great weapons, and they had nice looking official seals and insignia. Great video man, keep up the good work
Looked awesome, and those AK's looked especially awesome! I'm working on getting my own AKs-47u but I really don't feel like spending an extra 200 on an already pretty pricey AK.
This was an awesome vid, fun to use a great movie for the theme for really good life fire training. When you do this again, I'd like to participate. I'm in the Austin area. Thank you again for posting. PS AWESOME Sound track!!!!!
man you guys have fun at the range me and my buddies try to have as much fun as you guys but it's hard to keep up. and your flage collection is impressive
awesome video my brother, red dawn is one of my all time fav. movies, wasn't real crazy bout the re make but the original will always be the best ! i hope you live far enough out of town to where you dont get hassled by pd, or the sheriff alot cause it really sounds like some shit is going down at your place ! lol.
What is that Russian camo you're wearing called? I knew a guy who had some and we did a camo test down here in my woods in Alabama and that shit fuckin' WORKS! He barely walked into the treeline and disappeared! We then had him walk out into the woods and hide so we could go look for him. I found him, but only because I was looking for him. So, what is the name of that camo and where can it be purchased? Also, are there any American vs. Russian size differentiation I need to take into consideration if I were to purchase some?
Filipe Amaral Thanks! I recently bought a couple of German snow camo ponchos for my wife and I. when I put it on my wife said, "You look like one of the characters from... what's that movie about the high school kids fighting the Russians?" "Red Dawn?" I replied. "Yeah! That's it!" she responded. I almost decided to dress up as "Jed Eker" for Halloween. I just didn't have enough other Russian militaria to really complete the costume. If I'd had a Soviet red star belt, a Makarov and holster and a couple of inert Russian grenades then I would have gone for it.
holy shit Brent, this looks like some fun,I live in New jersey ,train in Pennsylvania ,we do a sort of dmr course where we engage targets from 50 to 500 meters ,range master calls the target ,,we range the target and engage ,fun stuff ,but this looks like you guys had a blast lol.. was wondering if you plan on doing a video on cqb, great stuff man,i am whittling my way through all your videos.be well.
COME ON LADIES. WHERE DA FUQ BE MY FELLOW SPLIT TAILED BITCHES!? you can't have a red dawn themed training event without a gal who was meant to be a sniper/resistance fighter....as a gal I am calling out all the local ladies to get off of the couch and represent!!!! love the video, dude!
I think it is smart to acknowledge and give do respect to the capabilities of your " instilled by history " enemy. Your glory after the battle will be well deserved.. 18 years ago, pre-9/11, wile i was stationed in South Korea, I at one time played Op 4 as a zapper North Korean invader against my Base in a week long exercise . It was good training. I also got 4 ( simulated ) confirmed kills against U.S. Army Rangers in a ambush.where i was defending my base as a argumenty Security Force member. I was a U.S. Air Force aviation mechanic AFSC or MOS if you prefer. .
Nah, it's all good. It's just funny that I am starting to notice people's YT accounts on other channels. And I really appreciate it. I'm hoping to really improve the channel more this year as well.
I hate to be that guy but yall should consider adding airsoft games to your training regime. It's a great way to put those force on force drills to good use to make sure you're doing it properly, as well as get your weapons manipulation down quicker. my weapons handling has gone up 2 fold with help from a buddy whos been a weapons instructor. He implements airsoft among his normal weapons training and it's made me and alot of other shooters that much quicker to the draw. also it's fun as hell, like a woods walk fashion show, I do kits for US WWII-vietnam as well as soviet afghan war and the chechen wars. it's good fun and gives you a chance to use the kit you collect as intended
This is what I love about America. You can do this with weapons banned elsewhere and not be considered terrorist group. Did you guys have to talk to Law Enforcement before doing this to prevent scared pants wetters from calling in reports?
Would I be out of line if I asked, you said you would be coming in from the South? Then you said to make your way south. Did you misspeak or is that how’s it’s said?? If I didn’t see the visual, I may have went the wrong direction.
Here's to hoping for an invitation next year !! :-D At 3:00 was a missed opportunity to reference the plane noise with the classic line " When we don't here that no more". I like how no one wanted to be Danny, fuck that guy!
AFAIK that dudes in olive Spetznaz bandanas wear "Beryozka" / "Gorka" camo "desant" recon paratroopers jumpsuits common still today by russan paramilitary forces
+SecurityGuy42 Actually it would have been great if they put in the added complexity of targets of bad guys holding hostages, or they could have done what we did during one range in the Corps were all the targets had balloons on them. Different colored balloons were different things. I still find it hilarious to this day that the HVI which was supposed to not be killed but captured alive probably had 40 rounds dumped into him.
The Modern Anti-Federalist I thought of the balloon targets also. Cardboard boxes with paper targets taped to them. Balloon inside connected to 550 cord tied to tree branches or something over head. balloon is hit target falls. Or use 2 or 3 balloons so the target must have more than one round put in it in the head or center mass. Well, discussing this Brent0331 gets ideas for improving training for next time.
We are planning on something that we can to simulate a hostage rescue more realistically. at the least something heavy to carry out. in due time my friends. in due time.
I love the guy wearing the blue jeans while everyone else is wearing camo. I have one of those in my crew. "What is defilade?" LOL That looked fun as hell. Obviously there was a LOT of work that went into it.

Brent is wearing what seems to be a mix of KZS camo smock and KLMK camo pants, but I'm not 100% sure.
Filipe Amaral Thanks! I recently bought a couple of German snow camo ponchos for my wife and I. when I put it on my wife said, "You look like one of the characters from... what's that movie about the high school kids fighting the Russians?" hrdknox2000 - it's "Beryozka" (birch tree) pattern soviet paratrooper camo
hrdknox2000 - no differences just look for EU sizes - 56/58 or 60/62 is US XL/
"You can have my gun, when you pry it from my cold dead fingers" As you wish, buddy! HA HA HA HA!

Nah, it's all good. It's just funny that I am starting to notice people's YT accounts on other channels. And I really appreciate it. I'm hoping to really improve the channel more this year as well.

Ha, thanks for watching.
This is what I love about America. You can do this with weapons banned elsewhere and not be considered terrorist group. Did you guys have to talk to Law Enforcement before doing this to prevent scared pants wetters from calling in reports?
Hell no brother, we live in Texas! This kinda stuff is just lovely ambient noise to folks out here.
You guys are Great....!!!!
Love this shit....
Good training guys! keep it up! Can you do a video on belt fed weapons in particular? Thanks.
great video
+Robert Upchurch Thanks brother.
Looks like a good time😎
I always get a laugh from the opening scene of this.
f@#king epic... wish I could've joined, if your ever in Florida let me know
You have got to be kidding me. There are grown ass adults reenacting a fucking movie?
Wow. I feel for their children.
Yes, with live fire weapons. What kind of vagina of a person wouldnt want to do this?
Would I be out of line if I asked, you said you would be coming in from the South? Then you said to make your way south. Did you misspeak or is that how’s it’s said?? If I didn’t see the visual, I may have went the wrong direction.
That's bad ass!!! I'm in the DFW area. Where did y'all film this? Thanks for sharing.
Hello Brent. I would like too see a vidio on the rpg if you u can. Thanks and we enjoy your channel.

Here's to hoping for an invitation next year !! :-D
At 3:00 was a missed opportunity to reference the plane noise with the classic line " When we don't here that no more".
I like how no one wanted to be Danny, fuck that guy!
+ThinTheHerd78 lol, I've got to somehow come up with an idea on how to top this for next year.
was that a M60 machine gun I saw at 19:12
RPD or Yugo M53?? Go!
still better than the remake
Might be a good idea to wear some orange for training?
This is a really weird question but what song was that at 2:43
AFAIK that dudes in olive Spetznaz bandanas wear "Beryozka" / "Gorka" camo "desant" recon paratroopers jumpsuits common still today by russan paramilitary forces
wtf is this mp7-looking smg doing in the middle of all those kalashnikovs
Are these guys firing live rounds or blanks? If live rounds you must be far from anyone else.
Uhhh...usually there are prisoners at a prison camp. Or was this a Son Tay type scenario? Just wondering.
+SecurityGuy42 We are having a difficult time finding volunteers to shoot around (wink)
waffenmacht
That's what mannequins or recuse dummys are for. Or burlap sacks with the weight of a human and limbs work good.
+SecurityGuy42 Actually it would have been great if they put in the added complexity of targets of bad guys holding hostages, or they could have done what we did during one range in the Corps were all the targets had balloons on them.
