I'm old school and believe in repairing things if you can. Don't take any notice of the negative comments. You have good work ethics. Crack on.

@@SteveFilby Thank you! Yes I've for the most part ignored them as most highly likely wouldn't even bother servicing there own tractor/or even a car 🤦🫣

Yeah you could easily spent 20k fully restoring it to as new condition but there's just no need as long as its welded up solid and got a fresh coat of paint it'll be fine, its a working tractor not a show piece

@@oakfarmagricultural506 Exactly it doesn't need 20k spent on it as that's literally relying on others to do all the work. Doing the work ourselves if we didn't count time as a cost which we don't as it's not a business thing then it's going to owe anywhere between £600-£1000 (welding, panels, paint, prep work, service costs etc) that's allowing for anything that could go wrong during, she's now starting off the key, this video was yesterday, the stop level isn't fully going over which is why she wasn't starting 🤦🫣noticed this morning it was half way over which is why she's chuffing in the video 🤣
But yeah she's had all terminals etc cleaned, battery fully recharged over night, will order a new stop cable as it's not retracting when pulled, and shes good to go. But will focus on the repairs next, already sanded/flated down two front wheels today as well, need to the rears next and get them painted.
We've got the sheet metal now for welding and I got myself a new welding mask so I don't have to watch/learn in dad's old 1980s things that are like concrete on your head and so heavy lol.
But yeah check out those tiktok comments if your on there and you'll see what I mean by them, it's like none of them can see past a bit of maintenance and repairs that need doing but most there profiles are filled with brand new John deers, claas, new Holland etc 🤦

I spent 20k on a 3070 that was in similar condition to this. Its concourse now but it was a nightmare

@@frankmurray7830 Guess it depends what sort of condition your after, and if you put in the time or someone else. Just needs to be reasonably tidied up, estimation is around £600-£1000 to tidy it, doing everything ourselves and not charging for time

@@willtricks9432 sure has and will! Just needs a good bit of time tidying up, started sanding the wheels down for paint, engine starts on the key turned out the stop level wasnt fully disengaged which is why she wouldn't start, new cable on order.
      Thanks for watching

@@MowersFamilyFarm I have just started tidying a John Deere 2310 my mate has just got.
Bit of tin work and needs the PTO disengaging properly. While keeping on top of my 1976, case 674. Cheers
