Looks like it would be a lot of fun to play, but it looks very complicated. Pretty sure everyone in my family would give up on it long before they "got" it.
The best gameplays as always Rahdo. A question : The green crystal marker you use in the round track it came with ks or it's from another game? Thanks a lot!
Hello there. I love this game even if i haven't played it yet. I bought it, red the instructions 3 times and watching videos like your. Congrats. I have a question about a rule that is not very clear to me. When all players open the assignment cards, the player which is first in the initiative order goes first. Right? What i don't understand is this: The first player opens 3 assignment cards for example.... he puts all 3 assistants on the respective slots, and then the second player puts his etc? Or he puts one assistant, then the second player another one, and when the last player puts his assistant too, the first player puts his second assistant etc? Oh! another question too... When a performance card is played, all trick markers go to their owners, or a player that was performing as a guest, when it comes for his turn, he can perform in that same card as a performer magician? Thank you very much! looking forward for your answer.
Yeah if the game is funded in the first week, which as of right now looks like it'll be funded in the first two days, they'll add four more to the game.
I dont quite follow the thematic part of, "Performing on thursday, gives you more time to prepare... while performing on sunday, gives you less time" that seems totally backwards. I understand the concept in that you get a negative on thursday because less people would come so, you need that positive counterbalance in the game design, but it doesnt seem to make thematic sense. Also, wouldnt saturday typically be the big night? But overall, im very very intrigued by this game, theres a lot going on, and i really like the theme.
Ae6KaRBoN i assumed sundays were the most important day because it's the only day of the week that workers get off, so the biggest ticket sales are on that day. www.victorianweb.org/history/leisure1.htmlre: the "prep time", on thursday, you get more time to set up back stage, because there are fewer people performing on that day, because attendance is so poor, so you can be more leisurely since your workers aren't tripping over others, since no one cares about thursday in terms of boxoffice. but on sunday, the back stage is buzzing with activity as all the other acts of the city besides you and your competitors (who only represent a small portion of the variety bill) are all struggling to get their acts prepared. hence, you get less time to prepare back stage on that day.
Lol. Nice. I was wondering if anyone was going to call them out for "borrowing" copyrighted artwork. I assume it's just placeholder artwork until their actual final art is ready, but I don't know for sure.
Pri Vate i probably should have mentioned it in the video as it's maybe not noticible since i was filming at night, but the word MOOD is superimposed over all the cards where they're using "placeholder" art. the full shipping game will be 100% original art - i'm just playing a prototype :)
Yeah, someone pointed that out when I mentioned it on the Magic TCG subreddit. I didn't catch that "MOOD" meant it was just a mood setting placeholder. Kind of makes me wonder what the final product will look like if they're using placeholder art at the moment.
Rory Walker well, almost half their cards do have final art, and you can see them on bgg. like this one: www.boardgamegeek.com/image/2257542/trickerion-legends-illusion :)
Thank goodness this game wasn't splattered with typical steampunk crap. Trickerion (despite its awful name) seems to be an interesting game treated and themed well.
You had me at heavy, heavy Euro!
Holy crap, this game looks INCREDIBLE! But wow, there is a TON of stuff going on!
24:47 Learning a trick of your own specialty still requires you, if possible, to turn a trick die into a "X".
noted... Thanks :)
Saw the board and went, "Oh my god!"
This version looks so much better than the final version.

25:10 Jen is the blue player. He just moved his own token and took two turns 🤣
It was already noted... when watching a video from Rahdo, please turn on the Klingon Subtitles to know when he goofs up
Wow this is so thematic
looks very intriguing. wish they included more characters though
desgtoy i believe they do have other ones designed, set aside as stretch goals...

+Stacy Lee "or candy!"
Does Spirit Hand let you shuffle target artifact or enchantment into it's owner's library? magiccards.info/scans/en/mt/118.jpg
Rory Walker nope, but it certainly should! :)

Hey Rahdo is this heavier than Vinhos?
nope, i'd consider trick a 3.5 out of 5 for heaviness, while vinhos is a solid 4, maybe even 4.5 :)
Thanks!

Why awful name?
