"The Ting" is actually where important matters were discussed. Usually the chief were arbiter.
Now in the Nordic countries it stand for the parliament. We have Altinget (All ting(?) - Iceland, One of the worlds oldest parliament), the Folketing (Peoples Ting - Denmark), Stortinget (Large Ting - Norway), Lagtinget (Guild Ting(?) - The Faeroe Islands, also one of the worlds oldest parliament), Landting (The Lands Ting - Greenland), and then in Sweden: Riksdagen (Diet of the Realm, they will be different). ;) (not to be confused with the German Reichstag before WWII)

Althingi í Iceland. A "thing" can be translated as a meeting, so it's like the all-meeting, or the most important meeting. Thing (þingi) is ancient Norse. People discussed important matters there, traded, played games, found prospective marriage partners, and settled differences.

My favourite game of 2016/early 2017. Beating out Terraforming Mars and Great Western Trail. Probably not Rahdo's cup of tea since it's quite sandboxy but lets see what he says.

You've got it set up a bit wrong. There should only be 2 mountain strips showing at the start of a 1, 2, or 3 player game. It's only the 4-player game that starts with 3 mountain strips.

Hello, nice review as always; I just have finished my 1st wonderful game with Donna Antonia. We have a question: at 4:35 we doubt that you would have 2 coins as the first spot on the left is empty.....What do you think about it?

You are incorrect, you get income related to the lowest uncovered numbered icon, so in this case he covered the 0 coins and the 1 coins, so he would get an income of 2 coins like he said

Unfortunately you have me reconsidering this lol, looked big and dry but has a lot of cool mechanics I didn't expect.
