Unless they decide to put him in another arena pass with a new character along with that, I don't see how that would generate more revenue following the season after. If anything, I think they need to make the grind a lot harder for characters to unlock and release him after the season has passed. And when the new season passes, they could sell him for $5 in the item shop. If the grind is difficult enough, people will just buy him, and for the people who want to play for free, the have to invest time instead of money, but will get the same reward (with much more difficulty)
It really is a good game. I am only playing it on switch with a controller that makes it very fun and more playable than touchscreen. I really appreciated the durge skin, I would love to see more nods to other characters. Like imagine seeing skora or reive in a qimir skin from the acolyte. If they could make new skins that match with the shows would be so cool
@@inferno1600 i like her play style. So much so that i hardly use Aran Tal. Her speed skill is unique & i love it, its fun & addicting. shes fast, small hitbox, decent dmg, crazy healing. People think she needs a nerf, which the only thing i think needs a nerf is her healing, the other healer that rolls, also needs nerfed, other then that she has lowest health pool in game, so i don't think they should nerf her dmg or anything else. She can get 1 shot comboed by sentinal & Kaos, which is kinda unfair imo, but its whatever, usually if you keep your distance you should be ok.
I really enjoyed the game and played all the way up to level 45 and unlocked all the characters, but it got stale... There just isn't enough content for it to be a game you want to sit down and play for a while.

@@inferno1600 I think the new Vader map was more of a pull than the new character! I would love to see more maps added, and I think that would at a lot more depth to the game. Different maps entail strategy, and also, just add a bit of depth to each game you play. Another aspect which would be harder to render, but would love to see is the aspect of characters having buffs/nerfs when playing together. Much like Marvel Rivals has, having synergy between characters can open up a lot more team play for people who aren't even in parties. And for nerfs/debuffs, I would love to see that if Reva and J3di played together, or grozz and charr (since they are rival species), that there would actually be small, but noticable debuffs to encourage different rosters! Just my take, interested to hear your thoughts!

I haven’t heard many complaints really. I’ve had a lot of fun playing this game and I’m excited to see where it goes. I had an idea for an IG Assassin droid that can swap between dual E-11s and a sniper rifle along with grenades and his ultimate was a self destruct ability. I also had an idea for a custom built droid that Slingshot made called RO-GR that has the head and right arm of a B1, body of a commando, and the left arm and legs of a Super Battle Droid. He can fire rockets, shoot an E5 blaster, smack people back with the arm, and his ultimate is a rapid fire that fires for 8 seconds. I also wanted to see a clone in the game, and the only way I can see it happening is if it was Kix. He would probably be a support since he’s a medic and you could give him something like a medical station or some buff abilities like reduced damage or regen overtime for allies. This could be good for cosmetics too since it’s a clone and could also lead to adding the Crimson Corsair later Let me know if you’d like to know more!
And I have not really watched a Star Wars only some, but I’m still Star Wars fan and I still love this. For me. It’s the players. I play ranked and sometimes I get afk players or people who don’t know how to play there character. This also applies to the enemy team too. Which sucks for the enemy team. That’s all I gotta say

Currently you match up with people in that same rank range with you. I had a game where I started at silver 3 this new season. And my team was all bronze 3 and the opposing has a gold 3 and the rest are silver.
The only 2 things I hate about Hunters is: 1. I cant binge on Squad Brawl all the time 2.- most of the times I get THAT ONE teammate that scores 0-200 points and that, no matter what I do or my teammates do, we lose the game.
I like the game but my major problem is the matchmaking system, I'm gold but I'm in a lobby with 2 diamond or Kyber whatever 😅 it just pains me to play like that so I left and will stay gone until something is done
Something tells me this might be another hating the prequels because they're new and different situation. So as long as the game doesn't turn greedy and demand micro transactions left and right. It should be fine. Though for real, these people are so quick to jump to conclusions. I think some of these people are just too overzealous about Star wars having to be one thing specifically or "the way they want it" which from what I noticed blinds alotta people from accepting the content we got for what it is. Instead we judge it solely on what we expect it to be. And because of that we have a lot of good content get overshadowed by a SEA of hate before anyone can say that it's actually good. And unfortunately that Hate is what keeps people away from experiencing said content cause of the hate around it. And bringing in different opinions because we are SO SURE that it's bad that we're willing to FIGHT people over it. Keeping even more potential fans away. I just uninstalled it today. This 2nd season, I had enough, they kept giving me bot team players even in rank mode. And on top of all that, they Nerfed skora, with just one slash from rieve killed me.
I think a lot of people will say it's bad because they compare it to the lore and legends stuff which is grittier, but if you're making a Star Wars game for mobile and switch then chances are it's gonna be rated E. The game is supposed to be a bit sillier because kids are gonna play it and parents are gonna complain otherwise. The EA Battlefront games and the Jedi Survivor series are for teens an up so many kids are likely gonna be stuck with Lego games because there aren't a lot of Star Wars games out there. People just get upset when they're not the target audience of every piece of media of their favorite series, which I understand if you're waiting for content, but like, sharing is caring
overwatch is a clone in itself so that argument is stupid. I actually think the character are creative and imaginative and the abilities are dope, like you can ride a droideka ffs I don't mind the switch or phone gameplay, I just hope if they ever do port that there's cross save
Hunters is a great game to pick up, play a few matches, and then put down. Not every game needs to be a life investment. Yes, the menus are stuffed with microtransactions, but just skip past them and play the game. Loved the video!
I need to put my two cents on this I've been playing a game since it's been out on the switch and honestly I've been having nothing but fun with it down to the art style each character with its own style and twist to the fact that it's only playable on the switching mobile it's a good thing because it keeps it at a distance from toxicity which Playstation Xbox and PC have been known for I could give two fucks what anybody thinks about this game because I'm enjoying it myself and so are others

cross platform would be my first thing to upgrade, mouse and keyboard eliminates the need for auto fire and aim assist which has been the only way to play ranged, the blaster shot speed makes it impossible to lead the targets especially at long range since it only auto fires when hovered over an enemy, an enemy like Diago who can peak corners, rip a headshot, then get behind cover before a single blast can reach him -_-
Yeah I agree, and I think the game would be more respected if auto fire and aim assist weren't necessary. I've played a bit on mobile, and you're definitely at a disadvantage without it. I could see this game doing really well in mouse and keyboard like you said!
@@inferno1600 I'm referring to the EA one, that's why I said "it's gone through it's no man's sky journey". The battlefront 2 of EA has overcorrected it's course due to fan and legal pressure many years ago, It's a good game now and it even has cool mods.
My main problem, as you mentioned, is the cartoony design, that it is yet another hero shooter instead of a game were you play faceless grunts (as in, why have a controlled Droideka with Slingshot, instead of having a proper, still functioning CIS Droideka, why have J3di instead of a Magna Guard or an EG-5 droid?), and that it completely disregards the lore with the good guys being in the same team as the bad guys.
Except there aren't good guys or bad guys? They're all bounty hunters hired to fight in arena matches, they're actually really careful to make sure the lore stays right, which is impressive for a mobile game that is as fringe as canon can get

Firstly you can easily emulate the game on pc and it isn’t buggy at all secondly the most criticized thing is the fact that the meta is triple tank with skora and people team up with 3 tanks and a skora making it impossible to loose at all giving no competitive scene if they add custom matches it can actually be competitive this is the biggest complaint I know all of this because I do triple tank a lot and got top 10 season 1 trying to get top 10 again season 2 I’m Joey btw thirdly everyone hits on skora what are you on
I feel as though they made it Exclusively mobile and switch is to be Appreciate without much competition. Mobile doesn't have many Mobile exclusive fps games and if it gets swarmed with console and PC it'll just become toxic or die out because all the Mobile players left due to the skill of everyone else
I love this game love it. Add a pve mode and it’s over this game is pretty awesome tbh they just need to add to it and I don’t expect them too but I like the game and I think it has potential . Hella potential and I would play this on a pc any day so if they go the route of just releasing it on pc I’d be happy and maybe add new hunters with the release and a pve mode and it’d be pretty sweet
Stop complaining about having no players in the game and a team filled with bots when the only people who can play this are switch users and a few mobile devices, yes not all phones are compatible hence a lot of people can't play it. Make them optimize it and more players would come in also advertise it more.

i was pissed because they only lunch with limited compatibility for phones but same time surprise they roll it out its accessibility, took a month for my phone to be able to play, and its decent mobile game, i like the way monetization there doing with skins, little sucky that you have to pay to unluck the newer hunter but who cares sentinel best hunter all the way. ps. i discover i can connect my Xbox controller with a cable to my phone so gameplay is smoother, dose take a hot minute to function but dose work for phone users who have controller and not the Nintendo console

I just uninstalled it today. This 2nd season, I had enough, they kept giving me bot team players even in rank mode. And on top of all that, they Nerfed skora, with just one slash from rieve killed me.

I think a lot of people will say it's bad because they compare it to the lore and legends stuff which is grittier, but if you're making a Star Wars game for mobile and switch then chances are it's gonna be rated E. The game is supposed to be a bit sillier because kids are gonna play it and parents are gonna complain otherwise. The EA Battlefront games and the Jedi Survivor series are for teens an up so many kids are likely gonna be stuck with Lego games because there aren't a lot of Star Wars games out there. People just get upset when they're not the target audience of every piece of media of their favorite series, which I understand if you're waiting for content, but like, sharing is caring

Hunters is a great game to pick up, play a few matches, and then put down. Not every game needs to be a life investment. Yes, the menus are stuffed with microtransactions, but just skip past them and play the game. Loved the video!
Overall it is a really fun game. Seriously. Play it on a good phone/tablet that can do 60fps.

I need to put my two cents on this I've been playing a game since it's been out on the switch and honestly I've been having nothing but fun with it down to the art style each character with its own style and twist to the fact that it's only playable on the switching mobile it's a good thing because it keeps it at a distance from toxicity which Playstation Xbox and PC have been known for I could give two fucks what anybody thinks about this game because I'm enjoying it myself and so are others

Great vid Inferno! Hunters does seem like a pretty alright game, and it really sounds like the main complaints about it are just bad-faith opinions. Those people woke up and wanted to be mad at something. It's not another Battlefront game and variety is just SINFUL!

@@inferno1600 thats easy, "play of the game" . Iv had a few super HYPE plays and i alwayse lovrd POTG in overwatch
cross platform would be my first thing to upgrade, mouse and keyboard eliminates the need for auto fire and aim assist which has been the only way to play ranged, the blaster shot speed makes it impossible to lead the targets especially at long range since it only auto fires when hovered over an enemy, an enemy like Diago who can peak corners, rip a headshot, then get behind cover before a single blast can reach him -_-

Yeah I agree, and I think the game would be more respected if auto fire and aim assist weren't necessary. I've played a bit on mobile, and you're definitely at a disadvantage without it. I could see this game doing really well in mouse and keyboard like you said!

The battlefront 2 of EA has overcorrected it's course due to fan and legal pressure many years ago, It's a good game now and it even has cool mods.

My main problem, as you mentioned, is the cartoony design, that it is yet another hero shooter instead of a game were you play faceless grunts (as in, why have a controlled Droideka with Slingshot, instead of having a proper, still functioning CIS Droideka, why have J3di instead of a Magna Guard or an EG-5 droid?), and that it completely disregards the lore with the good guys being in the same team as the bad guys.
Except there aren't good guys or bad guys? They're all bounty hunters hired to fight in arena matches, they're actually really careful to make sure the lore stays right, which is impressive for a mobile game that is as fringe as canon can get

Firstly you can easily emulate the game on pc and it isn’t buggy at all secondly the most criticized thing is the fact that the meta is triple tank with skora and people team up with 3 tanks and a skora making it impossible to loose at all giving no competitive scene if they add custom matches it can actually be competitive this is the biggest complaint I know all of this because I do triple tank a lot and got top 10 season 1 trying to get top 10 again season 2 I’m Joey btw thirdly everyone hits on skora what are you on
I feel as though they made it Exclusively mobile and switch is to be Appreciate without much competition. Mobile doesn't have many Mobile exclusive fps games and if it gets swarmed with console and PC it'll just become toxic or die out because all the Mobile players left due to the skill of everyone else

I love this game love it. Add a pve mode and it’s over this game is pretty awesome tbh they just need to add to it and I don’t expect them too but I like the game and I think it has potential . Hella potential and I would play this on a pc any day so if they go the route of just releasing it on pc I’d be happy and maybe add new hunters with the release and a pve mode and it’d be pretty sweet
This game reminds me of Paladins more so than Overwatch, I dig it!
Stop complaining about having no players in the game and a team filled with bots when the only people who can play this are switch users and a few mobile devices, yes not all phones are compatible hence a lot of people can't play it. Make them optimize it and more players would come in also advertise it more.
Its because for me it seems like a mobile game which it iss and so after playing like 15 games i ve gotten beyond bored

i was pissed because they only lunch with limited compatibility for phones but same time surprise they roll it out its accessibility, took a month for my phone to be able to play, and its decent mobile game, i like the way monetization there doing with skins, little sucky that you have to pay to unluck the newer hunter but who cares sentinel best hunter all the way.
ps. i discover i can connect my Xbox controller with a cable to my phone so gameplay is smoother, dose take a hot minute to function but dose work for phone users who have controller and not the Nintendo console

Let's be real, if not the "Star wars" in name, people wouldn't care. Characters are a bunch of no names and reality is that kids are playing this as it is a kids game and nothing much. It's not a game made for star wars fans, and imo that's the problem

I seriously don’t understand why this game isn’t on console and pc.
Hell, there’s already Xbox and PlayStation button layouts if you connect a controller to your phone, they would just need to port it to console and figure out a good layout for pc and you’re golden.
