My lipstick looks so flaky and dry three hours after I put it on and I don't know what to do except take it all off in the bathroom and start over, which isn't convenient. layering on more lipstick makes it worse?
And to add to that how to reapply sunscreen 🌞 over makeup
Is it a liquid lip?
Hollz lastname after you cleanse and moisture your face, then apply a 30+ broad spectrum spf, then apply your makeup. You can get a powder spf to add on top if you think you’ll need more coverage later but don’t solely rely on that. 👍🏼 your spf will still work with foundation over it
If you use more transparent/sheer type lipsticks, they usually wear off way prettier and you can easily reapply 😊 Of course it is a different type of look than say a liquid lipstick.
Hollz lastname and if you’re not wearing foundation and will be outside it’s truly best to do two layers of sunscreen. Dr Dray here on YT has so many videos about sunscreen, application, etc. my favorite daily spf is CeraVe Am- it’s a moisturizer and broad spectrum 30 spf. I still wear my cerave moisturizing cream under it or just two layers of the cerave am
I really loved when you used the fenty Moroccan palette for a while and came out with a bunch of looks with it. I think this could tie into your new buy if you picked a different palette and came up with five looks! :)

2. I just started watching Sopranos on HBO (1990s, Sex in the City era) and I love the women wearing Cool Brown eyeshadow looks. It's so 90s and made me have a, 'I miss buying Cool-Brown shadows' moment. So I can relate with your thoughts there.

Just like Hourglass - They're trying to be completely vegan - so they discontinued basically everything that wasn't, which was a lot of shit. I saw a lot of Bite Beauty go on sale at Sephora a few weeks ago and their website says they aim to be completely vegan by 2020. No one likes the reformulation of that lip balm stick except for Sam apparently hahahaha
Aw, man. I've been hounding UK retailers (ok mainly Cult Beauty) to get on and stock Bite cos there's no way to purchase their products here in the British Isles and I've been dying to try those lip glosses for years. Great if they're going vegan though. Fingers crossed they re-release equally beautiful new formulations. In the UK. Please.

Sam, I could totally see you releasing a low waste, cruelty free cosmetics brand. Minimal (but beautiful) refillable packaging, beautiful formulas, excellent shade ranges, reasonable prices, and thoughtfully created. I know it's an insane amount of work and I get that it may not be realistic, but I think what you'd create would be amazing.
Video suggestion: make wearable (like...not costume-y) versions of makeup styles from other eras. Maybe we find some interesting stuff!!

I really like seeing these types of GRWMs, because I like seeing what makeup you choose to use in your own time. I also think reviewing products you've got but forgotten or never tried (after using them for some time) would be nice. Maybe as you go through your stuff some hidden gems you've found, what you're enjoying using that you didn't realize before. I think there have been some cool ideas people have done with trying subscribers makeup tricks of hacks. Tutorials could also be nice- like showing different techniques for how to do the things you do; maybe a tutorial GRWM.

Josette Wood I literally said it’s faux mink haha. Shop Miss A and AOA studios have really cheap and affordable makeup that are usually around $1. The faux mink lashes is $1.55 because they donate the $.55 to the Paw Paw charity for animal welfare.

When you said “looking at the situation from a far”...
I stopped celebrating Christmas a few years ago and the first year I stopped I was able to look around and see how disorganized and exhausting it looked. Once you stop participating in something you gain a whole new view of it.
