Like Chinese people deserve to be able to buy nice makeup as well. I live in Europe, and every day I see Chinese tourists doing serious shopping in our Sephoras because they don’t have access to many brands we have here. Imagine if even Mac or other brands would stop selling in China. Just because they aren’t considered cruelty free, it doesn’t mean that they kill little rats all day every day to test Velvet Teddy and Ruby Woo. I’m sure Mac doesn’t test on animals, they just sell in China, and that implies that if a customer has issues with any product, the government can THEN test that product on animals; it doesn’t even mean that they test makeup on animals before it hits the market.. It’s not the brands’ fault if the government does this, and the market is based on the rule of demand and offer, so if people have a specific need for something, the brands just try to sell it. I’m sure everyone of us would do the same if they had a business, there’s nothing bad about making money 😂

Zita Puskás i am of aisan decent and still quite light (but I always bronzer) and its bordenline too light for me, but the medium seems really dark. If you can go in store to swatch it but I use the bright one very sheer and get away with it. Looking at your profile pic, I would recommend the medium but really sheerly applied.

I bought that Becca concealer and she is STUNNING. There isn't much coverage but the way that it reflects the light makes it seem like it has more. It's now my go to for when I want that fresh faced glow.

Sam is the poster child of moderation when it comes to cruelty free makeup and it's a stance I can actually get behind. I think people should be free to choose and not feel pressured/made to feel badly if there's still a few non-cruelty free items they use. Why does it have to be all or nothing and why do we have to care so much about what strangers do when it never directly affects us? Do what YOU can to help and don't worry about others.

I think if people are CF, it’s something they’re proud of and feel strongly about. Everyone I’ve watched that has gone CF, says they are using their products up that aren’t CF, bc it would be idiotic not to. Also a little pressure is what gets people to think about it in the first place, but hard pressure is annoying.

I'm a new subscriber and I have to say, after going through tons of your past videos in the last 2 days, you've already revolutionized how I apply makeup. I have been craving that natural makeup look to no end for YEARS but kept going wrong with the medium-full coverage foundation, tons of powder, and Instagram concealer application. Today I used my CC cream, spot concealed my acne scars, cream blush, cream contour (lightly), and just powdered my T zone gently. I LOVE my face like this. I just look like me. so THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIPS AND MAKEUP PHILOSOPHY!!!!
I really love how you feel in your skin and how you project that onto a platform where a lot of people want to completely cover everything (including myself) I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and suffer from adult acne and its the worstttt. That Becca Concealer looks so natural on you and awesome down onto your cheeks. For my no-make up make-up days, I have been using the Revlon Photoready Eye brightener and primer just under my eyes when I am not using foundation or concealer. It is a lighter fluid texture and blends away easily but just brightens my under eye. Then with some Elemis Illuminating Flash Balm on top of my usual skin care, I will just brush a little Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder over my skin and that is it.
The blendiful does a ridiculously outstanding job. I never want to touch a beauty blender again. Its also perfect for using makeup on your body. Its literally been a godsend for people with large area scaring.

I agree with you! Once your makeup is applied sheer it wears really nice through the day and it doesn’t feel like full coverage where when the makeup starts wearing off it’s noticeable. And honestly I feel like when I do sheer makeup like that my makeup lasts longer!
I had high hopes for that because I've used their BB for years but it was so dry and patchy on me. I always moisturize and use a sunscreen under foundation too. Do you use a primer?
I can really appreciate that you are using up products that you have and not wasting them..I’m in the same boat because I only purchase cruelty free and vegan products in all aspects of my life so I’m using up the products I don’t want to support anymore. But when you use the products on camera and talk about how much you like them, all that will do is have others interested in buying them. So if you are looking to be cruelty free and are wanting to inspire others to be cruelty free, it only makes sense to showcase the brands who are cruelty free. Instead you are promoting the brands who aren’t and in turn those brands will continue to have more sales. Just a little thought💕

Just like your period cup reviews, it would be amazing if you'd review various bras for those of us with ample bosoms lol. Maybe some higher end, some budget options, and talk about which ones offer the most comfort, support, quality, bang for your buck, etc.
I do struggle to get "no makeup makeup" to ever look natural so this was helpful indeed. Also that Glossier mascara REALLY IS super nice for this kind of look. Legit defined your lashes without looking like anything at all, which is super cool and now I might have to look into that damn it.
My fav corrector is the NYX dark circle corrector in light or medium. The one with coconut oil. It can be greasy if you overapply but I think it’s amazing for my dry undereyes. I have dark circles and it wipes them out.
Personally I love light, natural coverage. I used to love full, matte coverage, but I noticed as I got older it started to look very unnatural. I second loving the Becca undereye corrector. It's amazing the different it makes! You're gorgeous!!!!

I can't say thank you enough for transitioning to cruelty free. I really want to make this transition too, and I think the hardest thing for me is knowing what cruelty free products will be great without spending a ton of money doing trial and error. It's really difficult to commit when there's so much great makeup out there that isn't cruelty free, but influencers like you and RawBeautyKristi and helping make this transition more possible for consumers like myself. Beautiful! I prefer sheer coverage for the same reasons. I want my face to look fairly natural, not makeupy. Others like that look and that's cool for them. I also, as you said, don't feel the need to check it and touch up my makeup when it's sheer coverage.

For my aussie gals, bc brown mascara is hard to find here these days, i highly recommend the flower beauty brown mascara, you can get it at chemist warehouse, and while it isn't as va va voom as some, it is very smudge-resistant (important esp for no-makeup makeup) and it has one of those convertible wands so you can go for emphasis on length or volume (or both).
On my ‘No makeup’ makeup days, instead of using brown or black mascara. I have been using mascara that’s meant to bring out hazel eyes. It’s the covergirl one, I can’t think of it’s full name. I find it helps draw the attention to my eyes and obviously really enhances them 😂. But I def. think it makes them look natural as a brown mascara would, especially because it doesn’t add volume or length; it just adds the eye color enhancement.

You should try the No. 7 Match Made Foundation Drops - you basically choose how much coverage you want based on how many drops you use. It’s literally the most beautiful, easy to apply foundation I have ever put on my face. It makes your skin look flawless, yet still completely natural. I haven’t used anything else in like 8 months.

The blendiful does a ridiculously outstanding job. I never want to touch a beauty blender again. Its also perfect for using makeup on your body. Its literally been a godsend for people with large area scaring.

I agree with you! Once your makeup is applied sheer it wears really nice through the day and it doesn’t feel like full coverage where when the makeup starts wearing off it’s noticeable. And honestly I feel like when I do sheer makeup like that my makeup lasts longer!

I had high hopes for that because I've used their BB for years but it was so dry and patchy on me. I always moisturize and use a sunscreen under foundation too. Do you use a primer?

I can really appreciate that you are using up products that you have and not wasting them..I’m in the same boat because I only purchase cruelty free and vegan products in all aspects of my life so I’m using up the products I don’t want to support anymore. But when you use the products on camera and talk about how much you like them, all that will do is have others interested in buying them. So if you are looking to be cruelty free and are wanting to inspire others to be cruelty free, it only makes sense to showcase the brands who are cruelty free. Instead you are promoting the brands who aren’t and in turn those brands will continue to have more sales. Just a little thought💕

I have kind of an odd request for a video. Just like your period cup reviews, it would be amazing if you'd review various bras for those of us with ample bosoms lol. Maybe some higher end, some budget options, and talk about which ones offer the most comfort, support, quality, bang for your buck, etc.

I do struggle to get "no makeup makeup" to ever look natural so this was helpful indeed. Also that Glossier mascara REALLY IS super nice for this kind of look. Legit defined your lashes without looking like anything at all, which is super cool and now I might have to look into that damn it.
My fav corrector is the NYX dark circle corrector in light or medium. The one with coconut oil. It can be greasy if you overapply but I think it’s amazing for my dry undereyes. I have dark circles and it wipes them out.
Personally I love light, natural coverage. I used to love full, matte coverage, but I noticed as I got older it started to look very unnatural. I second loving the Becca undereye corrector. It's amazing the different it makes! You're gorgeous!!!!

I can't say thank you enough for transitioning to cruelty free. I really want to make this transition too, and I think the hardest thing for me is knowing what cruelty free products will be great without spending a ton of money doing trial and error. It's really difficult to commit when there's so much great makeup out there that isn't cruelty free, but influencers like you and RawBeautyKristi and helping make this transition more possible for consumers like myself. So, thanks :)

Beautiful! I prefer sheer coverage for the same reasons. I want my face to look fairly natural, not makeupy. Others like that look and that's cool for them. I also, as you said, don't feel the need to check it and touch up my makeup when it's sheer coverage.

I got the Becca concealer after watching this video, and it’s honestly suuuuper similar to Hollywood Flawless filter??? A little more sheer than HFF. Which I love, but thought was interesting 💁♀️
For my aussie gals, bc brown mascara is hard to find here these days, i highly recommend the flower beauty brown mascara, you can get it at chemist warehouse, and while it isn't as va va voom as some, it is very smudge-resistant (important esp for no-makeup makeup) and it has one of those convertible wands so you can go for emphasis on length or volume (or both).
On my ‘No makeup’ makeup days, instead of using brown or black mascara. I have been using mascara that’s meant to bring out hazel eyes. It’s the covergirl one, I can’t think of it’s full name. I find it helps draw the attention to my eyes and obviously really enhances them 😂. But I def. think it makes them look natural as a brown mascara would, especially because it doesn’t add volume or length; it just adds the eye color enhancement.

You should try the No. 7 Match Made Foundation Drops - you basically choose how much coverage you want based on how many drops you use. It’s literally the most beautiful, easy to apply foundation I have ever put on my face. It makes your skin look flawless, yet still completely natural. I haven’t used anything else in like 8 months.
