Bad thing is when Naruto returns to the village and realizes that he does not feel the chakras of his beloved sensei. Even worse is when he realizes that Kakashi is dead
I'll always agree with the statement that if naruto shippuden had ended after this fight, almost nobody would've been mad. This fight ends on such a fucking high note that it was beautiful. Naruto loses his teacher but gains the respect of the entire village in the process. Becomes one of, if not THE strongest in the entire village. This fight ends with naruto being able to become hokage and nobody couldve disagreed. Such a great fight. Also the best line in the fight was the "is kakashi on a mission". He already lost so much, and then to lose kakashi as well just made this fight so much better.
I mean, he was more or less fighting the leader of Akatuki (at least he thought that) who was part of a 6 man group. It only makes sense that he would take all kinds of stuff that would help him in the battle and smokescreens to block the vision sounds like a good idea. For some reason, it even works because Pain didn't notice Naruto jumping up to defeat the healer of Pain's group
Agreed but a lot people never realized just how much weaker pain had gotten before fighting naruto specially with that Shinra Tensei, he basically fought naruto at about 1/3 his strength not to mention that defeating someone without killing them is a lot harder than just straight up trying to kill them
@Jacob i agree with enriquez. Pain is temporarily in cooldown mode. He strategize his resources to confront naruto that is to waste Chakra. Pain six paths are just dummy or a shadow clone type in a sense but wouldnt disapoear in one hit
@Jacob up until the point naruto took back control from the 9 tails he had been trying to kill pain the whole time even going as far as to say it out load before being served the humbling juice, pain was the one truly holding back since naruto used every lethal technique in his Arsenal to get him, meanwhile all pain did was "restraining" him which he did twice and the only reason naruto survived both times was plot armor by pain not delivering the finishing blow and as a consequence naruto escape both times.

Madara was a classic badass and overpowered villain/God but pain set the bar too high for the most unique anti hero/villain in anime the guy is dope asf and everytime that theme plays I just wanna bow before the person that wrote this character. Best villain in all anime
I literally teared up every scene, that almighty push caught me off guard like I thought it was a dream... I watched Naruto 3 times through and I still cry, manly like, watching those epic scenes.

So basically Naruto came with the 3 Giant Toads and 2 Elder Sages of Mount Myoboku (Without even wasting chakra since it's Shima who summoned everyone) and received every intel known about Pain from Katsuyu. He starts to fight a weakened Pain who just destroyed the entire Leaf village. This same Pain can't kill Naruto in order to capture the Nine-Tails. Naruto does pretty well until a still weakened Tendô finally recovers his powers. Then the Giant Toads are knocked out, Fukasaku is killed and Naruto totally defeated and pinned to the ground. Hinata almost sacrifices her life to save him. Pain just gets weaker as he needs to use Chibaku Tensei to almost seal a 6 (then 8) tails version 2 Naruto. Naruto is saved from the 9 Tails by Minato. All of that to finally defeat Pain (Pain, not Nagato as he is in a pretty bad shape). Just take one of these factors out of the equation and the fight would have been very different. Danzô was right when he said that Naruto needed to stay at Mont Myoboku. Tsunade and Naruto were very lucky here
If naruto was brought back when they had planned (if Danzo didn’t kill that toad), naruto would have arrived when all the pains were spread out, they would have no idea where naruto is and he would be able to sense where they were. He could then ambush the first couple pains (probably joining up with and saving kakashi) before they realized where naruto was and gathered to attack him at once. I think naruto would then win that fight with the help of the most powerful jonin and toads

The great thing about this is that naruto wasn't fighting with all his chakra, since he had two separate clones. And each clone takes some of the original's chakra! let's say naruto was fighting with 80% of his chakra.
When the robot path got one shot by Naruto first how come the healing path didn't heal him back up instead he ignore him and heal the absorption path? Surely healing both paths would remake them more troublesome instead of targeting Naruto with 5 paths.
