- washbasin needs to be on other side of toilet since the duplicants only use it when they pass it, and only if they have germs and if they pass it in the direction of the arrow (default both directions but can be changed) - storage is automatically set to NOT store newly discovered materials, check it again if you are storing everything you dug out - storage can't store food (I think the only exception is sleetwheet grain which is both cooking ingredient and a seed), you need ration box to store food - the research tree is much bigger now, you might want to start looking at it (need a research station first) - sand can now be made from other minerals but you will still run out of it in few million cycles (I actually don't know how long it would take to run out)
Omg this game is a nightmare if you play it by trial and error and I know Ryan is too lazy to look things up on forums and wikis. This is going to be frustrating to watch.

Just a couple of tips for my boi NL - you should tile up the sides on the water (preferably 2 tiles wide), because eventually the water will breach those walld and flood the whole basement area. - Wash basin is on the wrong side as other people pointed out, the dupes only wash their hands if they pass the direction indicated on it and if they have germs. - The hatch you killed is a friendly little guy, he gives you tons of coal if you feed him stuff, RIP Hatch. - Monitor temperatures, things explode now if they get too hot. So far you're doing quite well, you should check the overlays on the top right to see what's going on germ wise and temperature wise
The blue blocks near your spawn are called oxylite. They give you a decent influx of oxygen at the beginning. You broke one to make a tile floor. Meaning you have to make something to make oxygen much sooner than you would have.
What you're really missing on this channel is that Grand Strategy stuff like EUIV or CKII. That itch was scratched a little bit with the short lived Civ 6 series but we need more.
Hatch, the little demon you killed, is best isolated the dupes. But they will produce coal when you leave any minerals for them to eat near them, which is a good way to get coal and energy in the late game.
the actual best ONI tip ever: start off with at least one duplicant with a heckton of the learning stat, then use the jobs tab to exclude all other duplicants from doing the research job its actually the greatest thing???
this is not one of those tips that just saves a few extra resources or helps with some stuff occasionally you have NO idea how fast a duplicant with a high learning stat can do research, it is actually insane
Any chance you'll start another series or run at Planet Coaster? That's the series that introduced me to your channel and I'd love to see more of it on here. Good video man!
Honestly NL, you might want to consider doing this on Twitch and running Dead Cells on YT when you get back from Champions of Fire. The backseating would probably help a lot. You're putting all the equipment in an area where your dudes will be lacking oxygen. MALF, send help!

Film Hero News- Gobotch Gaming Planet Coaster was sooo good! It’s the only NL series that made me buy a game, and I’ve watched a ton of his series.
