I just bought the PB820 Deluxe today... I was wondering if you could help me with the P settings since it looks like you have figured out the do's and dont's... What meats do you use your P settings at and what temp... I seen most of your videos and I've mainly seen you using P6... If you use any other P#'s what do you recommend them for? Thanks and any advise will be appreciated...👍👍
Luis Palomo absolutely, It depends on the weather bit normally in South Texas the wind is mild so I set my P setting to 6 if I am smoking a brisket, pork butt, ribs etc because I like smoke flavor. Just remember that the higher the P setting the less heat. When I do steaks I cold smoke them on p6 then I crank it up to high or you can slide the diverter plate it has and direct grill them. Just play with it . It takes practice but when you get it man you won't be disappointed. I use the B&B brand pellets because that is what HEB and Academy sell but I just learned that I can order camp chef pellets from walmart and those are very good too. If u want deep deep smoke flavor buy a smoking tube but the grill alone will not disappoint.
The Backyard Griller thanks alot, yeah and I know about that Texas heat, I'm from The Rio Grande Valley, way South Texas...lol. What P setting do you recommend while its on the smoke setting? A 4 or 6?
you should try grilling a jacks frozen pizza on the pellet grill
