Those chickens look awesome. I haven't done a beer can chicken in years. We don't drink, so I use chicken broth. Keep smoking!

I agree with you ruiz22. The rack to hold the beer and chicken upright is a must

    Looking for advice
I have a 5lb filet mignon it’s whole like a tri tip would like to bbq it on charcoal 2 zone fire how long per side? Also slice after done or slice before on the grill?

I wonder if you have this problem, I have a pit boss and I smoked a beer can chicken last week, I Just couldn't get the top around the neck up to temp, the bottom was getting to done for me so I took it off and wrapped it to see if it would. It seemed ok.

My Pitboss has a hot side so when I cook beer can chicken i place the chicken to the far right and it cooks perfectly. To find out , place some slices of bread on your grill and monitor how they cook.

I put the beer in a measuring cup and nuke it for 30 seconds, then put the beer back inhe can. That way the beer doesn't Rob heat while it heats up while the chicken is cooking.
