1 stick of butter
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup fruit juice, beer, or broth
Sauce:
2 tbsps butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
1/4 - 1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup honey
1 can chipotles in adobo

What I didn’t see is did you add the beer with the ribs once you took it out the oven for the 2nd cook? Wouldn’t it spill in the foil?

I was thinking the same thing :)
He would have poured about 1/4 cup of it or so in the foil packet. Red wine, chicken broth, pineapple juice work great for me. Popping them back in at 325 uncovered is to caramelize the sauce. Around 20 min. I like to sauce them 1 more time on top and do the last 2-3 minutes under the broiler on hi watching it like a hawk until it's just perfect. OCD
Watch it like a hawk is such good advice but needs to be said to a lot of people. It's basically 1. Cook it dry 2. Cook it wet 3. Caramelize the coat.

How long do you leave it in the oven at 325 after putting on the BBQ sauce?
I did it for 15-20 minutes just until I liked the glaze?

These look amazing!!! I'm definitely going to try this. I am hesitant to cook with chipotle because it has such a strong flavor.
I’ve learned by my mistakes to use less than what they say. I do love spicy foods but chipotle peppers is difficult for me to get it right. So start out slow. When I follow a recipe that calls for 4 chipotles I will use one chopped up and some of the sauce or just use the sauce alone. Good luck.

Did you add the beer on top of the ribs before you wrapped them
Add a quarter cup of liquid before you finish wrapping it up to place back in the oven at 325 for an hour and a half.
