  • Shooting an old Stevens 322-A .22 Hornet.
These guns were made from 1947-1950. This one belonged to my best buddy who passed away several years back. I recently restored it. The barrel and bore were rusty and the outside of the barrel was pitted some. The rear sight was missing, and the magazine was missing. I got it back to it's original glory, though and it is sure a shooter! I can shoot inch groups at 100 yards with the iron sights.

I inherited a Stevens 322A in 22 Hornet. It wasn't ejecting and upon inspection I found the ejector was missing a spring. Found it online at Numrich for $3.24 and now it's working flawlessly. Not bad for a 75 year old gun.

Nice! These old rifles are fantastic shooters. I used Numrich as well. I needed the magazine and a rear sight.

I inherited my great grandfather's Stevens 322-A, he bought it right after he got married in 1948. He had an old weaver scope on it, I've wanted to keep it on there, but I think something is broke internally. Was recently considering buying a 22 wmr for a cheaper to shoot cartridge, but part of me just wants to search out brass and primer and load for the hornet.

Absolutely! I had a heck of a time finding brass. Ended up lucking out on 4 boxes of 50 PPU factory loads to shoot and save the brass from. I download them a tad to stretch brass life and to save on powder. I wish I could have found the scope mount for it as when we were young I remember mine having the exact same scope on it. It was an old 3/4" tube weaver scope with weaver mounts.

Try wwwDOTgunpartscorpDOTcom/products/198420c and replace the word DOT with a period.
