cool vid . I have a complete deferent approach to building shocks . I do not create any oil pressure in the shock ( I push the shaft completely in before placing the membrane & tightening the chap. . ( I bleed the shocks completely) . This way the only resistance is cause piston flowing thru the oil and not the pressure build up from too much oil . also if you create too much pressure the o rings might get damaged & could start to leak a lot faster imo ... difference as to how well they are assembled ...
Your videos are wicked. Love the laid back chilled vibe you give. I recently brought mine 2 days ago because of watching your videos. Abut gutted that mine didn't come with tools though 😢
What wizardry is this? Lol. Just built my D5S watching your build guide video. But I'm failing with the shock build. I watched and rewatched and rewatched this video, following everything you did step by step, but I can't get any rebound! I tried sliding fast, sliding faster and then some, but no dice.
same ,built and filled the shock to spec, then put the seal on and close the lid , pressing the shock leg and feel a little pop. (seal come off or something)
Oh ok they should be rebounding back at a good speed all depending on what you want just add more oil and close it up but if it’s always to slow make sure you put some oil on the rubber O-ring
@@14arcangel09 thank you. Yeah I have the green slime for the o ring. Thanks for the quick response. I just finished and noticed my front was sagging hard. Your video and quick response helped a lot.
you need to make sure you put oil on the rubber o-rings. also if you changed anything make sure its the correct size like the internal shock piston or shock shaft hope this helps

Very well explained. Thanks
Great video. Thankyou very much.

Same here
maybe missing the green slime? mine didn't bounce at all
Same! Ive got two of the four to work properly but the two front won't work..... They be riding on the spring

Ok I wasn't patient enough thank you

Hi, is it compulsory to put green slime on the rubber o-ring? Or is there alternative for green slime
Just use the shock oil to lubricate
Two of mine won't rebound correctly..... What should I be looking for?
Bro come to Puerto Rico and build my shocks
nice
Hey dude I have big problem may shock is all the way down but after a few seconds its gets kinda stuck how do I fix it

Is it the same for v2
The same idea or build yes I build all my drift shocks the same
@@14arcangel09 thanks
Wow it very difficult to understand philosophers
