oh, but that is nothing... I remember once i was with my grand son... or was it my grand daughter... no, it must have been my grand son, because he was beginning to grow beard and he had a very deep voice... still has a beard today btw although my grand daughter she hasn't of course, so, we were on this trip up in the mountains, and you know in the mountains there are bears, so I brought with me my trusted gun, just in case, but we were up in the mountains and you know how the bears get a little touchy when they have cubs so we were walking in the mountains one early morning, must have been the third day of our trip... maybe second... and while we were walking all of a sudden it started to rain, and it was pretty heavy rain, reminds me of when I was in the war and there was weapons firing all around us, and smoke and you couldn't see anything and I was thinking to myself what am I doing here

Ultimately, it’s a jab at how ridiculous scammers asking for gift cards to satisfy a business transaction really sounds.

have you ever tried making the computer totally unusable, like making the mouse sensitivity super low and slowing the computer to a crawl etc?
They would just give up quick and hang up. That's the issue with many of the fun issues you might want to try on these scammers. If it makes it impossible for their scam to work they simply hang up and move on and you don't waste their time - which is the main point to doing this.

It is always funny when the scammers get hooked up together in a phone call and they each start accusing the other one of being a crook. That is irony you can actually feel.
I also NEVER get tired of hearing them lose their minds when Kit starts redeeming the gift cards. The tantalizing lingering of the cursor over that "redeem" button while they ramp up their panic, then the cursing when he actually presses it just never gets old.
