Yet another plant I’ve never heard of. Thanks for sharing 👍. It must be nice to be able to wear sleeveless tops in mid April - wise choice to move north 👌
That's fascinating, I thought I had good knowledge of unusual persimmon species but I'd never heard of that one before. Just looked like somebody had crossed a peach with a Fuyu 😲😲
I was very surprised to come across something totally unknown as well. Apparently they are quite rare even in Asia, they are protected in some places because people keep cutting them down for their wood

The most amazing part about Brisbane is the amount of people talking about the chill and walking around in hoodies in 26o weather!

PS I think your chopping board will have to go lol. Swap it out for a LiveLove Brisbane one 😅😉
and its timber hardness is pretty good . you know it can comparable with American ebony
Hopefully the others ripen tasty, good luck
I hope so, I might let them get quite soft persimmon or black sapote style to see if that isn't peak tasty
Ngon qa
Always better to counter ripen ! Then refrigerate
Mine got attacked by fruit flies and never got to be tasted again, but I am keeping an eye on the tree for another shot!
It’s not ripe! Shd be crimson red on the outside. It’ll be sweet and crumblier than an apple .
Since when do apples crumble and don’t say pie
I am watching the tree to give it another good shot to impress!
