Good morning Chuck, first love your content, but need MUCH more. It would be great to get some "on the water" stuff showing tips and tactics, whys and why nots etc. I am looking to buy a few more planer boards and am interested in the reasons for you using Church over the other brands. 90% of the use would be on Erie, Saginaw Bay and Lake St Clair either with harnesses and bouncers or crankbaits. I currently use Opti and after just 1.5 seasons I am finding that their clips are not holding up. So, I am debating between just buying another brand on clips and updating them only or completely new boards. Thanks for any feedback. Tight Lines
I can see why you would want another video because I could write a short article on the reasons why I prefer Church products over the other brands. Your fishing grounds are the same as mine, so a lot of what I would talk about would really relate to your style of fishing too. I will say for right now, if you can get through the fall season with what you have, and if you go to the Ultimate Fishing Show in Novi in January, Frank's Great Outdoors has some really good show pricing, and if you choose to get the double action flag system on any of the boards (get the pro pack) you can take your purchase over to the Church Tackle booth, and one of the staff members will install the kits for you while you wait, or shop and come pack to pick them up at your leisure
