Super surprising episode with testing all the FREEDIVER spearguns. All the FREEDIVER spearguns were standard 1m guns from FREEDIVERS and these are the guns I use daily to spearfish.
After I reviewed the results there was a few surprises and the slow motion reviewed the recoil and the difference it makes.

Good. Not many people doing testing like this. I think the results will depend a lot on how well each gun is setup. I think a 7.5mm shaft is well suited to 14.5 mm twin bands at about 360% stretch based on other vids I’ve seen. I bet if you compared the twin banded gun with the roller setup like that it would be much closer than you think.

Awesome awesome video to see - I have just converted my 1.2 m single band gun into a 1m roller and the difference is incredible- I’m still getting the same if not more power even though the gun is significantly shorter - rollers are definitely the way of the future and the no recoil makes the shot so much easier and more accurate

Interesting to see, especially the side by side on the recoil. I recently went from 18mm single band open muzzle to roller an can also feel huge difference in recoil and range. Great video Jandré, like the voice-over👌👍

can you put a roller muzzle on a standard aluminium frame? how would that react?
Howzit Frenzy. You definitely can. I did convert one of my guns to roller
Awesome video. My wife is in Durban at the moment and have asked her to pick up a freediver roller head with kicker. I am interested in what rubber you used for each setup. Brand, progressive/reactivate, diameter and length? Keep up the awesome work. Think i better buy you a coffee 😊
Most of them are 16mm on the roller and double.

The roller are using 14 or 16mm bands?? Just roller without kicker.
What is your opinion about the accuracy of the roller if was shoot at 5mts?

Baie intresant! Ek het al gedink daar aan om spear fishing te begin maar dis net ek wat vis eet. So dan is dit meer n mors van vis in dir huis. So ek catch and releas maar vir nou.
Die ding wat lekker is van spearfish is dat jy kan kies wat jy wil skiet, die res van die tyd kyk jy net en dit is n baie lekker vorm van oefening.
@@Bloudam ja dis beslis ñ voor deel. Nie die hele dag of nag staan en hoop jy vang ñ mooi een nie. Vat jy mense uit vir spear fishing ook? Ek en ñ vriend het nou die dag gepraat oor ñ deep see fishing charter te doen.
