- Ready November 15th, 2022 - PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC has some new paid DLC to gobble up!
The Jukebox is a sound test mode with retro style, would you expect anything less from PAC-MAN? Adding a jukebox to the beach of PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC’s in-game hub area of Ghost Island, the jukebox features over 50 songs from the game’s soundtrack as well as the English, Japanese, and Chinese language versions of the song “We Are PAC-MAN!” You’ll no longer have to enter a specific level if you want to hear your favorite in-game track!
Initially an exclusive from the Bandai Namco US Store, the Chrome Noir Chogokin skin can now be purchased stand-alone! As a fun cosmetic upgrade for the in-game Metal power-up - PAC-MAN will take on the look of the Chrome Noir Chogokin statue with stylish robotic details! If players really like it, the statue it was designed after is available for purchase from the Bandai Namco US Store.

This shows namco really cares for this series, and is doing anything to please the fans! Thank you Bandai namco for blessing us with a pac-man world remake. Maybe they will remake world 2 and world 3
probably not World 3 as that never released in Japan

thank you guys SO MUCH for updating the credits and giving us higher quality music! the new tracks sound FANTASTIC without the compression! though, given the fact we got the original PS1 version's Credits and Gallery uncompressed, i have to wonder if it's possible to do the same for the entire PS1 soundtrack, with an in-game soundtrack toggle to switch between the original and new soundtracks. hey, even having the original compressed PS1 soundtrack as a toggleable option would be cool, since there's such a huge difference between that and the new uncompressed tracks.
Really the jukebox should be free as it's too little to have to pay for, no offense. I am grateful for the new remixed songs, really very good, I hope they leave it like that and don't change it again. And if they update the game again, I would appreciate a new game mode, like a time trial mode, or something like that, and also more extra content, like the art gallery and bloopers.
But the art gallery song is in the jukebox!!!
Cool additions for sure, but it really is a shame that cool things like sound tests aren't included in the base game already...

@@ethanc.8683 I was expecting they actually restored the original soundtrack and was definitely let down by that but I’m glad they did actually redo the remixes and most importantly credit the original team

I immensely appreciate the newly updated tracks, and cannot be thankful enough for them.
However, they are not the original uncompressed tracks and not at the same quality, they are also not available anywhere.
Since the OST rights are yours, I ask you, Bandai Namco, to please contact the original composers (Tommy Tallarico, Joey Kuras, Todd Dennis) and commission them to release the original PS1 uncompressed tracks.
Even as a paid DLC, or as a digital album for sale, I don't care, but PLEASE, contact them to release them, we NEED to preserve the legendary first OST in the series, before it's too late.

Dear brother, I really don't think Bandai Namco has to agree with Tommy Tallarico and the other composers to release the original soundtrack, since some of the songs like "buccaner beach" got their original version without any problem, even "Under Pressure". . it was also returned to its original version. Now, surely you are wondering "And if some songs got their original version, why not the others?" The answer is simple my brother, Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a Remake, therefore you have to modify things, that includes some music tracks. I know how beautiful the original ost is and I can't deny that many times I look for the playlists here on TH-cam to listen to them, but they had to modify them, the truth is that their remixes don't seem bad at all, in fact some even seem better than the originals (personal of opinion). If you want to listen to the original ost you can find it on TH-cam, Now, if Bandai Namco updates Re-Pac again, it would be best to put an option to choose whether to listen to the new improved ost in the levels or the original, and therefore problem solved. And hopefully they add Kooky Crypt and a new game mode (like a boss marathon, and the reward can be something interesting)

"Under Pressure" before the update it was a "remixed" track, then they remembered it was present in the original ps1 game in the credits (just like the rest of the uncompressed original tracks in this game) and added in. If this was the reason, why strangely enough they included all and only the uncompressed original tracks already present on the original ps1 disk? Not even a single track we never heard uncompressed got released in this remake, not a single one. The truth is they don't have the original tracks files, only the rights. So they recovered the recoverable from the disk and called a cheaper composer to redo the missing tracks. I don't dislike them, but they are not the originals that were never released uncompressed before. This is why I'm asking this. You cannot just "search on TH-cam for the older tracks", they were NEVER released uncompressed. I'm asking them to contact the original composers and release them for preservation purposes before they become lost media. If these remixes are enough for you that's fine.
Why in the ever loving heck are you selling a sound test as DLC and why are people celebrating it?
What if PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC have two more DLC based on two video icons: Mario (Super Mario) & Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog).
While it would be cool to see both, I see Sonic being more likely to be represented as future DLC in the game than Mario due to Sonic being entirely multi-platform. If there was or were to be a replacement for Mario, Mega Man would work greatly.
