after watching the video he does absolutely fine without but if he wants to drive a RWD it could be much better for him… Because no hand on wheel on a supra won’t go as well as 4WD i think
4:50 I've got a friend whos a paraplegic and has a 1200whp GT-R R35, riding with him is a very similar experience he crosses his arms and uses his left hand to hold the steering wheel and operate the shift up paddle and his right hand for the accelerator and brake pedal, its a very sketchy experience as a passenger.
@@MotiveVideo simple fact that the man has his hands off the wheel changing gears yes no one else around but it would allow more control of the car we ain't talking low hp numbers here small things can cause big problems at high speed and high horse power some simple extra safety for himself and others the man can definitely steer but wouldn't you want to be able to do it better.... Even the best have mistakes and ruin half million dollar cars it's just simple common sense....
Any driver could make a mistake. His car, his risk. He has a license so we let him enter. If we saw any unsafe driving we would stop him, but we didn’t.p
Is the PPG sequential super finicky? It seems like anytime I see someone driving w/ one they are really careful to keep their hand far away unless actively shifting.
There is inherent geartrain slop which makes it a little funny to drive at slower speed. Needs to have some skill in shifting to make it smooth. If you've driven a shitty Honda with shot engine mounts then you'll be fine but it's not like a normal syncro box
@@ReubenHorner Right, but there has to be a mechanically-actuated switch within the shifter assembly for the ECU to know what's going on. Sorry for wording that badly.
Best car channel on TH-cam why this doesn't get engine masters numbers I'll never know
that dude using the walking stick to actuate the accelerator... damn.
Looked kind of sketch honestly
You see how violent the wheel turned on the 1-2 shift👀 Crazy! Respect ✊🏽
Yep, I met & bought turbos from Shap…..he’s a beast behind the wheel💪🏽! He’s a really humble guy too
Nice safe driving technique.
Some one build/buy that man a hand throttle. No one will think less of him, he’s still driving a manual with one leg he’s a bad ass.

@@hugosxm Watch his 1-2 shift and try to say it's absolutely fine lol.
@@DriftNick I mean it does a pretty job for sure it could be much better with 2 legs but he is pretty good ^^
using walking stick to accelerate in his monster GTR is the most alpha shit ive ever seen
Props to Shapieh! What a damn legend for riding out a manual box with a cane on the accelerator. Top bloke in my book
I second that! Wow
The sound of an RB, heaven !

Walking stick........ That's just BOSS LEVEL fully... Daam
Really interesting with the break down of each of the RB’s and how each car achieves it’s power level differently.
Credit to Shapieh the dude can drive ✌🏼
10:12...... he tried to pull the transmission off the motor with that 1-2 Shift! ;)
This reminds me of the old exvitermini videos with commentary
Total geil, super Format 🤩

1000+hp GTR always makes me smile.
New GTR challange is out, best time of the year for me👍
Manual GTR’S ❤️❤️❤️ love RB’S
Track car setups bloody makes my boat float And then they add the nurburgring on the car so you know it's not fucking around
Shap neverlift, haha! Nice!
Need more videos like this! Mega guys! ❤️✅😎🔥
We have 6 more to come from this event and have heaps from previous years
@@MotiveVideo mega! Can’t wait thanks guys 🙌✅😎👍

Shap!!!!!!! 💫
God... I love that screaming sound 🥴
Deathwish, holly fk what a hand full lol
wow soo awesome :o
old mate with the cane needs a hand throttle thats just plain dangerous for himself
Why?
He has a driver’s license and no doubt practices it. He drove it better than many other GT-R owners do.

Thats a myth for all sequentials. Watch Andrew drive his PPG. Super smooth

Thanks for the info! IIRC the PPG will do clutchless and rev matching shifts so I thought perhaps the trigger for disengagement was really sensitive
@@casefc3s those parts are down to the ecu. You wouldn't usually use tho functions around town, only at high power

So much money shifting going on - must have all been taught by John Boston! Lol
Wasn’t a single money shift shown - do you maybe not know what a money shift is?
@@poolix1 I should have said "so much potential money shifting going on". Inside joke between me and Hawkins.
