I remember when Darrell wore the paint off first two spots on the back of the neck in the first and second positions. He was proud as hell the moment he could see the wood. By that point the headstock had been broken off a couple of times.
One small nitpick is I dont think the end of the fingerboard is bound on the real one. Only the sides. Other than that, from what I can see this is spot on. Like damn
Yes, the USA made MLs don’t have binding on the bottom of the fretboard. Also this has a recessed Floyd. Not a top mount. But besides those 2 things, it’s a very accurate tribute build of the DFH!
ive wanted one for a long time but neveer have gottin one i do know grady stated the tone knob was disconected its just plugging the hole and the bridge route has no wood it goes all the way throuight the trem route ..
