I have one in Alpine White. And I like it. A lot. For me, everything about it is great. I am taking it to my luthier next week for a pro setup and fret dress. In the meantime, I took off the covers and checked out the parts. Mine has Gibson USA 490R and 498T pickups, CTS pots, Mallory caps and Switchcraft switch and output jack. I was pleased to find that the cavities were super clean and painted white. The wirings were neatly soldered and nicely tucked. I am very happy with this guitar. So impressed that I purchased the IGC 1959 ES-355 in Ebony within a couple of weeks later.

hi awesome brother congrat 👍i`ve get this model 3 month ago, for my 2nd les paul model.1st almost 20 year old with me, epiphone standard it was buy from my friend who bought from euro. then I had to sell it to buy this grenny' gibson les paul, couse it so great scheme fated, especially pickup grenny' setup..very satisfied even though the price is a little bit higher for me from Asian, but I can't compromise with the name and the quality is very satisfied💚GIBSON🤘

I've been eyeing this guitar, but I'm not into relic style. Wish it was just a goldtop.

The only difference is the price LOL a lot of these Chinese knockoff guitars are actually really really good and to top it all off the real deal is way overpriced for what you get it's definitely just as good of a guitar though don't waste your money at Gibson

I can tell the difference just by looking at the headstock, I see what your trying to do because the real one doesn’t say Les Paul on it, you would think that the Chinese copy would get slack at that but no lol it’s historically correct on the Gibson because the Les Paul has been smeared away over time, personally I think they should have still put it on there, why have that worn away but not the rest of the body. I’m totally wanting to get one so it doesn’t matter that much to me.

firstly nice comparison, your real greeny looks great. the chibson has epiphone sized pickup rings, the volume and tone knobs are not in correct positions (the tail peice looks a touch too low) , the headstock is not wide enough, the gibson logo isnt even at the right placement , and the chibsons top is probably a photo finish , even though they will tell you its a maple cap. also the switch isnt a gibson style "bowl" switch. tuners are in wrong positions too. i have yet too see a chibby that actually really replicates a real les paul....i know people buy these because it says gibson on the headstock...but anyone who knows guitars can see from a mile away that they are fake knock offs...people may fool themselves though if they have not really looked at a real les paul or even played one if people really want a les paul for cheap that they can mod up, then i highly suggest going for a japanese copy like burny/fernandez...or tokai or greco, they at least get the specs right in terms of build quaility and fitting placements.(Burny is best bet for the lower prices)..hell even orvilles can be found fairly cheap at times (official japanese gibsons) also im not against chinese guitars...they been making quality instruments for hundreds of years....Eastman guitars are far superior in hand crafted build quality than any gibson ive played and at half the price.

Slick, i ordered 2 LPs of the last run both awesome 1 has the stainless steel frets an oddly enough the shape of the body where the horn is is alot more rounded off than the other LP i got

I finally breakdown and get the Alpine White Epi LP custom and months later the model with the Gibson headstock comes out 😅 I did get it brand new $649 no tax tho at guitar center, and about $450 in upgrades 🤷‍♂️
