    With all this FZ1 related activity of yours, I finally decided to check out the price of a few good ones online and.... holy mother of Cthulhu! These bike are cheaper than a dirty weekend in Luton. What you get for your money is a bullet-proof litre bike, with issues that can be fixed. Basically an MT-10 for the very, very thrifty... good work Mancam.

    • @AndyManCam
      @AndyManCam  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know right! Astonishing amounts of fun, power and agility to be had for very little dosh! It was an obvious litre step up for me and my finances. Though I'd be hard pressed to upgrade for a very long time. Fantastic machine.

    • @disekjoumoer
      @disekjoumoer 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I, ahem, bought a KTM 990 SMT last week, cause it was cheap and had only 6k kilos on the clock, but if I hadn't bought that machine, I was seriously considering this beautiful virginal white FZ1 S (with ABS of course, just to one up Andy 😜) www.motorradhandel.ch/occasion/yamaha-fz-1-sa-abs/touring/keller-motos-ag-siggenthal-station/7416121/1/13/1/

      Ha! Always got to be better! I suppose that, like cameras, the best bike is the one that you've got at the time! Ride thee well! And remember to always have spare oil! 😉

    • @disekjoumoer
      @disekjoumoer 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's because I feel inferior, Andy. I always have to compensate, because I'm always in your rear-view mirror. The oil consumption is a thing, as the kids say these days, as is the snatchy throttle, but I'm hoping TuneECU and possibly a Throttle Tamer will reign it in.

    Huge thanks to all your vids. I'm very doubting of buying one as I'm coming off a rather newer z1000 however all the newer current bikes don't seem to appeal me. As this one does and the money I'll save I can do some tweaks :) your channel helps a lot with that. Thanks a lot!

      My pleasure Wherels. I'm very happy to help. I think you should just ride one and see how you feel about it. It'll either be love at first ride, or you'll long for the familiar Z1000!

    Hi Andy! Hope you’ve had a good one mate!
    I’ve received one of these gubbins for crimbo, courtesy of my batter half. I’ve just been out to install it but as simple as plug and play is.... the bike will not start at all with it installed. Without it connected the fuel pump is heard and the bike starts (engine light showing) but as soon as I plug in the esey01 the pump is silent and just cranks over but doesn’t start. I don’t suppose you have any ideas at all mate?
    Many thanks

    • @AndyManCam
      @AndyManCam  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m good thanks mate. Hopefully you too! Stupid question, but are you totally certain that you’re connecting it to the right plug?! Try leaving that same plug disconnected but don’t connect the ESE. If it still doesn’t do anything then I’d suggest that the correct plug is elsewhere!

    • @losttreblefishing7936
      @losttreblefishing7936 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AndyManCam yes all good thanks, still fat and full from excessive Christmas eating!
      I’m pretty sure that it’s the correct plug as it’s the only one I had to disconnect from the servo to start with when taking it out. Also placement is identical to your video mate.
      Just seems very strange indeed that the bike starts with nothing plugged in but I don’t even hear the fuel pump when the unit is plugged in. 🧐

    • @AndyManCam
      @AndyManCam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, that’s very strange. I’m afraid I’m at the extent of my knowledge. Healtech are always incredibly helpful, so i guess you’ll have to ask them when they open in the new year. Sorry to be of no help! 🤦🏻‍♂️

    I'm bringing my fz1 to a dyno tuner soon for an ECU remap,
    In order to achieve maximum power, I'm planning to do the airbox mod, put in a high flow airfilter, slip on, new chain and sprockets (-1 +2) & full service on the bike so it runs optimally. Is there any mods that you would suggest other than these to further increase horsepower potential?

  • @samathullah91
    @samathullah91 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I just wanted to check, these accessories can be fitted with FZ8? because i bought FZ8N and thinking of installing healtech accessories but i am not sure fz1 and fz8 are identical.

    Hi mate i have FZ1N also 2012 when i am doing around 90 95 mph engine light comes up and i have Yoshimura exhaust fitted there is no o2 sensor so if i remove this from my bike and fit this small gadget do you think this will solve the problem?

    • @AndyManCam
      @AndyManCam  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      This gadget sadly has nothing to do with your O2 sensor Sunny. I think there's a way you can find out the error code from your bike and use that to see why the engine light is coming on. Have a check in your manual. Probably much better than guessing at what it 'could' be mate.

      @AndyManCam  6 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @cornish_boy6235
      @cornish_boy6235 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Andy Man Cam yeah a lot of r1 parts are bolt on. Have a nitron on the rear, loads better. R6 only fit gen 1 fazer 1000, you can get the r1 shock on ours but need to get a guy in America who I believe is called satan666 on the forums to make you an adapted. The fz1 owners pages on Facebook are really helpful.

    Just remove the offending bulb and place it in the bin or place it on eBay. But really who really wants to buy a 50 cent/ 28p/ 31eur cent bulb and pay $50/28£/31eur to ship it?
