I personally think that Grazz't is still allied with Asmodeus and his presence in the Abyss is to ensure that the Blood War keeps raging and the oberyths (specially Obox-ob) and Tharizdun don't rise again.
In my headcanon Graz'zt is both former archdevil and son of Asmodeus and Pale Night. Makes the whole thing even more spicy. I also like to think he's enmity with Baphomet is in part because Baphomet is courting his mother, but that's more of a comedic addition.

11:46 having everything turn into mirrors all of a sudden would be very very disoreinting as you would se near infinite reflections arround you . There would be a intellegence saving throw(how fast can the mind figure wtf happened and proccess it properly ) or lose concentration on any spells and roll all ranged attacks at disadvantage .
Using Grazzt as a possible NPC/Villain in Out of the Abyss. When the Demon lords were brought into the underdark I had Grazzt pretend to be a young teifling child in search for his mother (This is in reference to the Succubi in Gracklestug). The party bought the bait and have been trying to get an audience with the kings consort who the teifling child claims to be his mother. When the party brings the child to the king and his consort (which is secretly the Succubi) I plan to have Grazzt dominate the King and reveal himself to party. From their I plan for him to either strike up a deal to knock down the other demonlords a peg or to dominate the party Ranger before using charm spells to convince the party to leave Gracklestug. This is all happening this weekend so wish me luck. Love the demon lords and can't wait to show my two newbies their first!
Planning a segment which takes place inside a haunted hotel that the party earns the deed to... One of the rooms...the "Romantic Suite"...has a couple of secrets hidden within. Most are harmless...a mirror-ball that functions as a "Hypnotic Pattern" spell...a series of "Magic Mouths" which start belting out some "Barry White" music if someone hits a hidden switch... ...but my favorite is the full-length mirror that is fixed above the bed; which will momentarily flicker to show Grazz't if a player lays face-up to look into the mirror. Grazz't will not actually physically harm the player...it's mainly a scare-tactic to provide a narrative build-up for later...but the mirror IS actually a fractine which will absorb a player who is not careful. Got another fractine in the bathroom, too...nowhere is safe in this hotel.
When i was first made aware of dnd, i knew i eanted an npc that would seem innocent and be extremely helpful to the party and even vital in some encounters, but is actually a demon waiting dor a chance to do x (i couldn't decide what) and my designe for this npc was a fiend that really resembled Graz'zt himself 😂 when i found out about him i knew that if i ever DM he'll be that npc 😅

Hey can i ask why you decided to make Graz'zt red? He is almost always depicted as having black skin. I know black is hard to add to drawing, but still curious about it.
