You are definitely amazing Lauren. The way you break up difficult concept of rhythm into simple steps and arrange them further progressively in such brief period of time is incredible and worth emulating. You are such an inspiration for us dear. Teachers like you are truly ETERNAL.
This is absolute awesome and fun! I've used this cord progression over time for endings and in choruses and now I finally know the actual the name of the Dsus4 & the Dsus2 cords. wonderful
When I was 13 years I was learning bass guitar then I stop learnig start to drink alcohal , now when was going retreat ,pastor son offer me a guitar , again start to learn from you, thank you and God bless you and keep happy in your life
OMG, I've been trying to play this for ages and finally, this is a chord progression I can can actually play and even finesse a little..Thanks so much Lauren!
thanks I'm trying to learn this to play for my grandkids when they come, I got messed up when the top nut wasn't shown, but I'm working it out. thanks.
Initially I was skeptical about this, because it says it is closer to John Meyer's version, but on comparison with everyone else, you're version is spot on. Forgive me for ever doubting you
Hey Lauren! Another great lesson. Thanks for making things accessible for us beginners. (Yeah...playing for ten months and still a "beginner.") Would love to hear you sing a bit more of each song. I know it would be helpful to my learning process because I can play the progression but not able to coordinate the chord changes to the lyrics. I hope that's clear. Thanks!
Hi Brooklyn, thank you. I am working on doing more play alongs. I may need to start a new channel. Because of copyright issues, I run the risk of getting my channel shut down if I sing.
I learned to play this with D, G and A7sus4. It's pretty awesome that this entire song is just the same chords in the same order over and over. It's a fun song to learn also because it's a popular song. 😊
You sound like my bass guitar teacher back in the 80s,he had me listening to jazz, and he would show me finger exercises on the neck,a lot of octaves, great song too..Tom was a legend,My favorite 2 songs,Stop dragging my heart around and Don't do me like that"😅
I find it easier throwing accents on the intermediate pattern you gave since the downs and ups are more consistent than trying to count the 1e+a and all that in the easier version. I get all messed up.
Hi Mis Bateman Yes! Im still with your lessons . Had to change accounts , but stillwith you my friend. DO YOU KNOW , Seagul By Bad Company . Thank you again .
@@LaurenBateman Apologies Lauren, I overlooked the 2 🤐. WOW that's so simple, 30+ year learner here trying to teach my 12 year old. Love the channel and the way you break things down into a much simpler approach. Greetings from Ireland.

You must have missed the word easy in the title.
Or just teach us the 3 easier and original chords.
Sure go make your own video on it. 😊
