If you want to play guitar around the campfire, you will want to learn how to play Free Fallin' by Tom Petty because it is a classic that people will love.
We show how to play this song on guitar in four different levels, from easy beginner to intermediate.
On the first level, we teach how to play Free Fallin' on guitar the easiest way. We use simple easy beginner guitar chords that will have you playing this song right away. We also show an easy strumming pattern that will make the song sound great. The guitar chords we use in level one are very easy beginner guitar chords, D maj, Dsus4 and Dsus2. With just those three guitar chords you can play the entire song!
If you are a beginner guitar player, or just learning how to play guitar you will love this easy version because it uses simple beginner guitar chords and a very easy strumming pattern. Even though the first way we show makes this an easy guitar song for beginners, it still sounds like the original version of Free Fallin by Tom Petty. If you play this easy song on your guitar for your friends, they will still immediately know what song it is.
If you are an intermediate guitar player and already know how to play these guitar chords, you will appreciate the second and third levels of this guitar lesson. We show slightly more complex guitar chords such as G Maj and Asus4 and a more interesting guitar strumming pattern. When you play this song on guitar at these levels, it will sound more like the original recording of Free Fallin' by Tom Petty.
We also show how to use a capo on your guitar to enable you to play along with the original recording and show some additional strumming patterns that you can use to make this easy song sound more difficult.

Nicely explained. Covers a lot. Thanks!
Thanks brother 🫶🏼
This was my first time seeing your jessons...I like to see your sus and hammer fills for coloring a single solo player....I like to do this alot.. thanks for some ideas...thanks for the E chord shapes the Petty way. I really like how you start ez then move up to an advancing level of chording strumming etc.. multi level lessons, brilliant, a person can build on that style of teaching..that is a smart and unique way on lesson presentation. Best of what I have seen on the web. I can actually play all the way up to an advanced level, and keep learning up. It is a great challenge to keep from getting slumped in the same old thing I been doing. I'm subscribing now.
We need more videos from you thanks buddy

@@Studio33guitar Hello! I'm now, after my retirement, intending to learn how to play it. Guitar and the Venezuelan four-chord guitar have my passion for a long time in my life. So, now I start doing it. That is why I following your tips on youtube. Thanks for your replay.
Your explanations are the best I have come across. We learned the d, dsus, dsus, d, asus version in a beginners group class at a community college. However, we were taught to move only our middle finger from the high e string over to the 2nd fret on the d string. That way we would only be moving one finger from the d chord to the asus chord. I just tried it your way, and despite moving 2 fingers from the d to the asus, I believe it’s easier-especially if one has wide fingers as I do. Getting that middle finger between the middle finger and the ring finger to the high e string from the d string was a squeeze for me. Moving both fingers allows me to get back to the d chord more easily and quickly.
I meant to type “getting that middle finger back to the high e string from the d string and in between the INDEX finger and ring finger was a tight squeeze for me.
Excellent! I hope my videos continue to help you along the way. I’m not familiar with the Venezuelan four chord guitar. I will have to look that up. Do you live in Venezuela?
