It blows my mind how perfect so many of these faces match the characters they portray. Especially the ones who's faces are concealed. They look almost exactly how I would've imagined they look like.

Stéphane Cornicard. A Frenchman, and the best voice actor to voice characters with a French accent. He was the one who voiced Napoleon in Napoleon Total War, as well as a lot of Orlesian characters in the Dragon Age serie. Always been fond of the guy, as Far as I'm concerned. He does a tremendous job with Greirat.
I love that Soulsborne games never seem to have voice actors with names that I recognize. And yet the work they do is always so good, so beautiful to listen to. These are the kinds of voices I want to hear in more games, such as RPGs, as opposed to the more generic voices I frequently hear. Part of it is probably voice direction too but I just love how slowly the lines are delivered, every word oozing character and atmosphere.
0:58 I'll never forget Yorshka. Probably one of the most uplifting and best NPCs in the entire series. Voice acting makes you want to fight for her emmediatly!

2 dudes per race, and a couple of unique ones. Tbh some of them like stephen russel do really good Jobs in bethesda games. He plays Nick in Fallout 4 for example. Its just kinda sad that bethesda could not even spare unique voice actors for essential characters like jarl balgruuf.

Mr beans baked Yeah but elder scrolls covers much larger settings with more hundreds more NPCs varying from full voiced questlines to generic repeating combat lines and such. Like how many characters actually talk in a single Dark Souls game? Probably less than 50 I would say of the top of my head. It’s not like Bethesda is gonna go back to morrowind and daggerfall days and have their only voice lines be some cut scenes and essential dialogue, that’s basically what dark souls is doing.

Dark souls is more story driven and naturally has more refined characters where most the elder scrolls games are adventure RPGs and builds more on an explorable world instead the delivery of the story.
Best voicing in the game by far is JOHN ROWE 4:40 when he says, "This pyromancy tome is dark, and delves into the depths of men, where an untouchable flame resides."
I always loved Eygon's voice acting specially when he talked about the -cesspool filled with freaks- firelink shrine. The firekeeper's voice acting was my other favourite.

Andrei has been my favorite voice to mimic since playing Dark Souls for the first time 5 years ago. It's just so perfect.
