    I got 100% volufiline, about 13 dollars, mix three drops of it with a tiny bit of moisturizer, and use it in spots where I wanted more volume. Dramatic difference for me in 2 months. I do 2x a day most days but extremely easy to do at night because it is a slippery texture. (Also epic : mixed one drop into lip mask at night)

    I’ve been playing with Vollufeline for over a year. I use it under my lips and my eyes. Honestly, I notice nothing much but the pure Sederma product isn’t all that expensive. I’m still playing with blending it. Rajani is great, he travels the world and keeps his finger on the pulse of all things arsthetic. Plus he’s always experiment which is why I love him! I found a fairly recent study from S. Korea using by macerating A. asphodeloides Bunge root extract using 95% ethanol which produced a 2% concentrate of Nyasol. The in-vitro investigation conducted in this study aimed to validate the safety of AARE in cosmetics, and the findings suggested that the nyasol molecule, which is safe in SMALL quantities, is responsible for the extract’s beneficial effects on the skin, making it a valuable addition to the field of cosmeceuticals. The MMP-1 inhibitory activities of nyasol and this extract were studied to confirm the possibility of using AARE as a cosmetic raw material for wrinkle reduction. Both the AARE and nyasol standard inhibited the production of MMP-1, suggesting a wrinkle-reducing effect. In addition to the known skin-whitening effect of AARE, the antioxidant effect of AARE was confirmed by DPPH free radical scavenging activity tests. ALL VERY INTERESTING and promising but DIYing these things are often a failure

    I have super oily/acne prone skin and have to plug the ingredients into SkinCarisma and the LightSaver has so many fungal acne triggers, and some things that could be comedogenic on my type of skin (my skin sucks!). I'm afraid to get it. On the positive side, it has no silicones or coconut oil. I don't know what to do because it's not cheap. A came across dr rajani a year or so ago. I’m so glad to see you sharing his products here. My omilux mask finally died. Ive have it for years. I need to buy a new LED maskI. I saw Dr R’s mask when he featured it on his channel. The under the neck mask is genius! I LOVE the under the neck strap in his mask! I have a melasma. I was cautious to purchase his mask because of the masks’ blue light combo and fewer lights in the mask compared to the omilux. Seeing it featured again on your channel, I just thought I’d ask your advise. Considering my melasma , should I purchase Dr R’s mask or Omnilux? I’m purchasing next weekend in the hopes there might be a Mother’s Day sale. Might you know of any upcoming sales? I love your channel. I find it so educational. Thanks for the time to put all this together for us and for taking the time to answer my two questions. Be blessed!

    I’m an ardent follower of Dr. Rajani, I ordered this cream and have been using it for nearly 2 months. It is a lovely texture and, thankfully, with no artificial scent, which he is rightly opposed to as his followers know.
    Disappointingly, I have noticed no change whatsoever. I followed directions precisely, I take very good care of my skin and health, I am well hydrated, but have some mild hollowing around my eyes that I had hopes with this creme to address, but there has absolutely no change whatsoever. Still a fan of the good doctor, we are all biologically unique, after all, but for me this is just a nice, light moisturizer (shockingly expensive) with no noticeable benefit.

    I tried Volufiline 2 years ago for 3 or 4 months. My face went from pretty firm to soft and always looked oily. It took about 8 weeks for my face to return to normal. The negative effects took many weeks to show up and it seems like it was working fine for a few weeks, but I quit when people started to notice my skin looking strange. A really bad trial. Maybe I was using too much. I would take a few drops and mix it into a moisturizer morning and night,. Never going to try again.

    Super great video, Penn. So much to investigate. My question: you said that bakuchiol is supposed to act like Vitamin A but you didn't say it as though this was a fact. What do you think of bakuchiol? I read that it's great to use along with Tretinoin, at the same time, as well as alternating am and pm, which means I think it's not as powerful as Tret but could still be a great alternative.

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Oh sorry, I did sound pessimistic. I think it just gets a little overhyped as an alternative to retin-a and it’s not quite that. But that’s not to say it’s not a really fantastic ingredient. I just think it is one of those that necessitates reasonable expectations- as in I don’t think it’ll do what retinaldehyde will do (for example). On the other hand, it shouldn’t irritate anywhere near retin-a can, so there is that.
      I need to revisit the studies etc to see if there’s anything new on bakuchiol.

      @@PENNSMITHSKINCARE Thank you1 You didn't sound pessimistic about the overall benefits of bakuchiol just about whether it has the same benefits as Vitamin A just without the irritation which has always been difficult for me to believe. I think that's a good thing to discuss in case people are thinking the benefits are the same. I'm sticking with tret, actually never thought of bakuchiol, but when I read it may be good to use them together I became curious. Right now I have so much stuff I don't need to rush to buy bakuchiol!

    A couple of years ago many of us dived into Volufiline when you mentioned it. It's not a standalone ingredient. The little bottle says to add it to a cream or something. I kind of gave up but I've been eyeing Dr. Rajani's product for a few months. Trying Adipeau at the moment but if it's a dud, I'll try the Rajani product.

    Penny I don’t even know what age you are, you look great 🙌 Loved the video, great to know what’s new…but when it comes to really expensive creams, I draw the line, how much I will pay for the cream. I use BR some products, and also some Rajani, but when it comes to fat rebuilding, I would not pay such amount, it’s almost half syringe of sculptra. Now if someone able to afford all other real working treatments, such as sculptra, ez gel, lasers, ,… then of course its not going to hurt, but I can not at this time, cause I still love my fashion, and I would choose put towards real proven treatments, and not a gimmicks . It’s nothing wrong with low budget skincare. For over decade, all the way, until 47, I was using this amazing brand, that was also very cheap. I had my raw vegan desserts business, and in that network, I found company, in Las Vegas, who made skincare that way like 5 - 6 ingredients. It was incredible , it changed my skin 100% . I always had sensitive, but very clean skin, but when I came to SF, it became red…, etc. And that skincare changed my skin almost overnight. …That low budget cream looks great. I am very particular, what I use on my face. I always had sensitive skin, and even with using actives, my skin became more robust, heavy creams,never agree with my skin, but for the body, sounds like great product, Have a blessed day🙏❤️

      So I have used it and I definitely think it’s great. For me though I think it’s too early (I’m in perimenopause) to see much change from it.
      I will say it IS a little thick so it’s tricky to fit in a layering routine. You’re only supposed to use one pump so that makes it inadequate as a moisturizer….its too thick to be a serum…..it’s just tricky.
      The concept is amazing though.
      I did think it played well with sunscreen etc though, no issues with pilling etc.

    Hey Penny, How do you rate this new sunsceen you were taking about in this video against the DRMTLGY one?
    And, can you possibly ask Dr. Rajani for a discount code for us?

      Hi! The SPF in this video is a little different than the Drmtlgy-
      -slightly less dewy
      -more sheer
      -what color there is is slightly lighter than the drmtlgy
      -the drmtlgy is a hybrid, meaning it is mineral + a chemical filter, the Lightsaver is all mineral
      -the lightsaver is more money, by about $20 (I’m hoping I can get a discount code)
      As for Dr R, I did get us a code! It’s Penn10 😍

    please talk more about your eye brow tattoo removal when it happens. I want to remove my eyebrow tattoo but have read that laser only removes the ink superficially. The ink actually get absorbed into your body which may be toxic. There is a new procedure that does not absorb the ink into the body so it is healthier. Is that what you are doing?

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I definitely will cover the whole thing here on TH-cam.
      It is a new procedure that uses a chemical that attracts the pigment to IT then that is wiped away. It’s really innovative (to me). More very soon!

      So when I very first got them done I loved them- they were microbladed (hair strokes) then she had me come back 6 weeks later to “finish”. I should have opted out (because I liked how they were) but I trusted the process. At that point she “shaded” them. Basically filled them in and they looked more solid. They are a little square at the front (unnatural) and pointy at the tail (unnatural). Now they are fading to a grey color because I haven’t gone back for touch ups (because I didn’t want to add to the tattoo).
      So all in all I just want them softened up, more natural. I think in real life you can see more what I’m talking about….and I know it’s being nit picky. I figured it would be interesting content so why not 🙃

      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE ah yes, i don't like mine either. I thought I was going to get hair strokes. But instead she did a solid line (without askkng). Bit peeved to be honest, does not look natural :(.

    I take his PlasmaRestore Glo gummies everyday, due to the fact that I'm struggling with autoimmune, and they're great. I notice that when I take them my nails are stronger and my hair is fuller - which is great! Can't wait to try his red light mask!

    I would love to know how you are getting your eyebrow microblading removed. I live in NYC and I am wondering if anyone here does the same method instead of laser removal. Thanks!

      I will be sharing everything- hard to explain in a comment but what I know is that the developer of this is in California and said he plans to do "pop-ups" so that more people can access his services. He basically does the reverse of a tattoo...He uses a tattoo tool that deposits a solution that attracts the pigment and he literally wipes it away. Pretty mind blowing. What I like is that it will not harm the brow hairs (which laser definitely can). I will keep you posted on all the details!

    Have you put out your updated protocol for microneedling/Dr. Pen yet that you had said would be this past November? I’m not sure why such a delay considering you were all about microneedling for so long. That makes me nervous. Is this a sign that you no longer believe in it? Should I be rethinking my Dr. Pen?

    I got my brows done in 2018. They're turning green. Ugg, and my brows go down on the tail. Which could drag my face down. I need them fixed.

  • @loisenglund8842
    @loisenglund8842 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I have been using Dr. Rajani’s volufiline cream for about two weeks and I haven’t seen any results yet. It also pills and when I emailed the company about this, they just told me I was using too much. I find the only way I can keep it from pilling is to apply it directly after cleansing and not layer it at all. The price, of course is too much for me to continue using it but so far I’m not impressed. It is a nice moisturizer that has a mixture of antioxidants and retinol and hyaluronic acid.
