  • Welcome back :)
Many of you have asked me to try products containing Volufiline and one product in particular was requested for me to try frequently, the Dr Rjani Plasma Restore Glow Volufiline Cream. So, my friend Cher from ‪@chersworldchannel‬ and I tested the Plasma Restore Glow for a full 8 weeks, to give you our honest opinion.

I just use Cetaphil for dry skin, Avene Xeracalm or Vanicream. Works wonderfully on my menopausal skin. I get more “plumping” from the Estriol cream I use as a heavier serum at night. Maybe that’s helpful for you. And these are extremely economical as they’re huge bottles/tubs.

Thank you for this video. It's great that you try different products like this and share your honest opinion with the viewers. It seems very difficult to treat visible signs of aging such as hollowness and skin sagging by just using topical creams. By the way, do you still use Adipeau cream and if so, does it still help? So far, I've been sticking to traditional skincare ingredients such as vitamin c and retinol. I tried filler injections about 5 years ago but unfortunately, the filler migrated and created all kinds of problems. I had much of it dissolved but I think some particles are still lingering. Filler injection seems like a "quick fix" but when something goes wrong, it can create a long lasting problem! I wish I had known this earlier on! I remember there was a video you made with Dr. Ania a few months ago when injections and other office procedures (that could possibly go wrong) were discussed. Thank you for bringing awareness and sharing your personal experiences!

Hi, thank you for being here. I agree, I do not think we are there yet with topicals for volume loss. I am so sorry to hear you had a bad experience with filler. Yes, we are learning more and more about the side effects now, not just as far as migrating, but as you said, if you want to dissolve it...

So good to see you again Claudia. That’s terrible that at that price, this moisturizer vulufiline didn’t make the least bit of difference. Thank you for doing such an in-depth review of this product. Oh, I subscribed to Cheryl’s channel a few months ago. I for sure will go back and watch her video on this product. I have come to realize that for me, medical grade skincare products are so worth the price( some I must say) I’ve finally got a great amount of and pm skincare routine down using medical grade products and I am seeing so much difference in my skin: being deep wrinkles diminishing and I do use Tret ( ReliableRX) and 4% Hydroquinone as well as Medic8 Crystalized Retinaldhyde. I’m waiting for my strength 10 to get here and can’t wait. Have you ever used their VitC Luxe Serum? Utilizing TdH.. 30%( I believe) I’m on the fence about it as it says to use 6 ggts for face, neck and décolleté. There is no way I can use that much. 3 gets on just my face seems like too much. Would love to hear your thoughts on it. But wow on their peptide serum with copper peptides as well. Sorry, I’m rambling. Always learn so much from you Claudia. Love and appreciation to all that you bring to us in skincare.

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  หลายเดือนก่อน

Hi Liliana, than you for your kind comment.
It depends on your budget. Dr Ania, who has been on my channel a few times, thinks that cheaper peptide serums often do not work. Her explanation is that peptides are big molecules and to be able to have them absorb into the skin, they need to be in a certain delivery system, which then makes them more expensive. She really like Alastin Skincare, they have a couple of peptide serums. However, while they are beautiful, they are not cheap.
There are much cheaper ones, the Ordinary for example has a few and people seem to love them.
Niod also makes a copper peptide serum I really like. The price point is in between the two mentioned above

Hi Tammy, I am happy you are here! And I’m also glad I was able to save you some money :-).
You know, I think PRP by itself is a bit of overrated. If you think about it, it uses our own stem cells, which is of course great, but those stem cells are the age we are, so they’re not that powerful. Some people like to mix PRP with another substance, but I have not personally tried that. I know that DrRijani is a big fan of PRF or easy gel, but again I haven’t tried either

Great video, @Claudia Glows. This reminds me of the Meth Blue hype. I mean I love Rajani. He has a great reputation for being the go-to chap in the industry for non-invasive global treatments. I wasn’t willing to spend $300 for yet another cream (in a jar no less) particularly since I use organic silica, THD etc in my skin care regimen and treatments. I did get the pure stuff from Sederma and one in a S.Korean serum. I’ve been playing with how to use focusing under eyes, and around and on/above my lips. My skin is very strong and tolerates the Sederma stuff no prob. I applied AM and PM for a couple of weeks (it’s a bit oily but not hydrating nor irritating). I see no results not even a smoothing. I am now trying it by adding a few drops to some small liquid lipsticks I have that were drying out. Overtime, maybe something will happen! I’m tempted to add to an eye cream but I don’t like the unpredictability. This is not a new ingredient, btw. Dr Rajani says his formula is unique in particular because of the combination with THD. Adding to my THD doesn’t make sense because I don’t want overall fat. So, May add to one of my eye peptide creams. I wonder if lightly MNing it in (or using electroproration) would be useful. My concern is that if it works, will I end up with lumpy Undereyes instead of hollows?!?! I may stick to trying it on the lips. I’m also playing with the lip plumping capsules the Droplette just put out. I’m so not a fan of that device but am giving it another go. I’m on my 5th device! Do you have a video on it? I was clearly influenced” into buying it although did so with my eyes open as I’m a skin care specialist. Still, got tempted and wasted 2 years of $$s, making good on the old saying “a fool and his money soon will be parted!!! Again, thanks for the great content as usual

Thank you for your kind words and for sharing a bit about your experience with Volufiline. I def. think it is overhyped, but I am still curious about it.
Keep us posted on your journey with it.
Regarding the droplette, the company sent me one and I ended up throwing it away. It made such a mess, with the mist spraying and dripping all over the place and I even broke out from the serum.
I think that is another very overhyped device and I am sorry you have not had the best experience with it either.

I have to admit that I didn’t see much difference at all in fact, I did not see a difference. I am always skeptical of a topical product at that price that says it has filler like results because honestly, you could get filler for the price of that cream. Filler lasts for usually about six months, I get half a syringe of Restylane in my lips every year and it works fine for me. By about 11 months, I’m really wanting to refresh but at any rate think about that in terms of buying enough cream to last for that period of time. It’s not something I would consider I would buy the NIRA Pro for that price (and no, I do not work for them and actually I don’t even own one yet). Thank you for doing this Claudia. Very interesting product but lackluster results.

@@claudiaglows I agree about the NIRA precision. I can’t say that the results were anything more more than subtle for me either. But my particular concern is around my mouth and I’m hoping that this new device might at least keep the lines from getting deeper, and cover more ground. I’m debating whether to get it in the Mother’s Day sale, and I will definitely keep you posted if I do. The precision could be a bit spicy in terms of pain at the top strength level, but I hear the new one is much more comfortable.

Well, I fear that I got sucked into buying this very expensive product, which was a huge leap of faith for me, and which I haven't tried yet. I'm still working on my Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum to see if that has any effect by itself.
Before and After pictures are almost *always* intentionally maniipulated or subject to differences in the photographic environment. Clearly, Dr. Rajani's B&A's have different lighting and even the neck B&A is likely manipulated by the subject moving her chin back (not down, but back) and tensing the neck. VERY obviously, your lower face B&A looks worse in the After only because of the lighting creating shadows. When the subject has bright light full on the face from the front, wrinkles will be the least noticed. Also, doing a B&A of you smiling isn't going to be accurate for the product because when a person smiles, the smile lines are already more deeply etched into the skin. A resting smile line B&A might have been more realistic.
Your honesty and unbiased view is always appreciated.

I don't agree with before and after pics taken while smiling/ expressing. Those are dynamic wrinkles that are always going to be present as part of expression. Static wrinkles are the ones always present no matter what. Any product should address those, not dynamic lines. The product before and afters can easily be misleading: just smile in one pic and not the other to reduce or exaggerate eye lines; just tuck the chin in or hold the neck up and erect to reduce or exaggerate neck lines. So...I don't believe those, either. I don't believe a product applied topically is going to have any true effect on the fat layer, aside from hormone based topicals, such as estrogen. Thanks for trying it out.

I think there is a difference in your pictures. While the lines may have looked at a similar depth, what was different is the size of the folds/thickness of the skin. Like around the eyes there were fewer and thicker skin folds. Sort of like the difference in an elderly person’s crepey skin folding in many tiny lines on their stomach but a chubby little baby will only have 1 or 2 giant folds. It sure is expensive though!!!!!

I thought your skin looked moisturized. And maybe lip lines looked better. Otherwise I can't see anything.

Thank you for your feedback. You know several people mentioned my lips, but I think if there is an improvement it is either because of lighting, or the new Ziip halo lip program I have been using regularly.

Hi Heny, it is pretty crazy to spend that much, esp. if there are no results :(.
      Which moisturiser do you like?
Thank you for your kind words and for being here

That’s my opinion in uk I can get iPRF done for £200 so I rather have that in 2 months then this topical cream. It’s far too expensive.
