    The lean technologies are selling points for me as a new rider. I became a rider with a family. Wife and 3 girls. Features like this are HUGE to me.

    I just bought a 2022 speed triple RS. On your point of the tech, even if I don't push it to the limit it makes me feel much safer! My last bike didn't have ABS, so having not only ABS but lean sensitive traction control gives me more peace of mind since I commute on the bike too

      Be careful it doesn't give you a false sense of security. I suggest practise hard braking in parking lots to understand your bike better.

    I just bought a 2023 speed triple RS, Baja Orange and I'm having a Blast. Yes, it is expensive but it is so good...Coming from a CB650F. I didn't know how cheap my little Honda felt it compared to this one.

    • @habanadj

      @@obeii1805 The bike is great; it rides as sharply as a surgical knife. However, it had some reliability problems-small issues-but the dealer's relationship with the Triumph brand is complicated at best. It took more than a month at the dealer's shop (under warranty) to fix the simplest things, and sometimes even simple problems take over three months to resolve.

    Thanks for the video. I was curious about how I would know if the traction control had come on. I have never owned a bike with ABS and/or traction control. I have about 5000 miles on mine and have felt the ABS kick on a couple of times. It is not as disconcerting as I thought it would be. I expected that I might feel it it come on and then release the brake thinking something was wrong, but it happens so quick that I didn't even have time to react to it.

    OC: THink this bike is some sort of visual trickery in the part of Triumph. Looks liike a Naked, but doesn't sound or ride like one really.... Kinda, but not really.

  • @MotoTvWoodsFarm
    @MotoTvWoodsFarm 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    nice the boffins are fine tuning the traction control, doesn't work on muddy lanes to well ask me how i know. but on puddles, oil spills braking you won't know you had a problem apart from the noise of it working. not huge fan of their soft as butter engine casings that mark if they are touched by a babies breath. but the rest of the package fine super fine.

    The majority of roads in the UK are twisty 2 lane roads so that is why it’s set up for that as the test riders ride them everyday tweaking the chassis and suspension dynamics for this type of road.
    If you want it to be an all rounder bike buy a Tiger or Trident etc 😂

    • @rocco4774
      @rocco4774 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly! I currently own a 1200RS coming from a range of older muscle and sports bikes...and this feels castrated. Takes all the fun away and is intervening too much. Even track mode is restricted, and takes all the fun away doing powerslides, even lifting th bike in 1st gear seems challenging, as traction control intervenes and takes away the power. Sport mode is pretty limited also and does not let you accelerate out of corner normally....I am not really sure for who the bike was made, as they took all of the hooliganism away with castration. I rode 2000km with this bike, and I am now determined it is going away...
