    i have always thought that Sabeer Bhatia is not given enough credit for being the first Indian to probably put India / Software Development / Indian minds on the global Map. Salute to this legend. To do what he did back then in the 90's is nothing less then epic. You remain an inspiration for millions of young Indians all over.

    Very nice guest, some tips for you @Raj
    1. Dont cut the guest, let him speak complete sentence and take pause.
    2. Don't diverge questions from the topic soon, it breaks the thought chain
    3. If the guest goes into technical, dont avoid going into deep for the audience. When podcasting, think about guest rather than audience.

    • @sameerverma1873
      @sameerverma1873 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +10

      In support of the 3rd point -
      4. Let the guest speak till he wants to, let him go in deep, let the video become more lengthy, because real knowledge gets delivered when someone goes in depth of something.

    First Mail - HOTMAIL:- My first mail ID was hotmail ID. The Hotmail introduced me to the word of mails and then there was Sabeer Bhatia who become Millionare and was flashed in all newspapers.
    The interesting insights that Sabeer gives particularly about the Indian VC being the Bean Counters and not the real VC and how the Viral Word was coined.
    THE LEGEND WITH ALL POISE, GRACE AND ELEGANCE a disarming smile which reeks of the wisdom and humility and deep insight about the Rabit Hole called the Internet.
    Strangely, he was all forgotten and I never saw his video. Thanks to this podcast Finally this was the man who was in forefront of the revolution and finally able to hear his words.

      Two remarkable things did happen #One just a week ago remembered about Mr.Sabeer Bhatia with a curiosity about (honestly thinking in my own mind alone w/o speaking out in front of phone or an Alexa like gadget) his #Messaging venture he had publicly talked about during '90s or 2K. Surprisingly landed at this video just yesterday. So hugely perplexed as how it is happening, not in this event on #SabeerBhatia but many others created "ripples in society" by '80-'90s. Some one may enlighten on this as such noumenal exist with others ?
      Secondly (although pointed out some 11 Timeline to analyze later) the most two points at 12:40 ... the importance of a choice for #Eudaimonic type of "Well Being" quoted as core value of life and at 1:01:34 ... logon ko CLOTH karna hai ... FEED karna hai (besides' Saheb's "80 Crores ko Free Ration bantna hai aur Credit lena hai ...Oopron, Mr.AK ko #Jail me rakhna hi hai"). Yahan #Log saaaab dekh rahi hai !! 🙄

    I enjoyed this conversation. That said, even such delightful conversations can present risks to the listeners. Many entrepreneurial individuals like Mr. Sabeer Bhatia justifiably come across as smart, insightful, steeped in extraordinary experiences, articulate, etc., to such an extent that there is a risk of their articulations over-influencing people by bye-passing their critical thinking ability. People might begin accepting their views uncritically, and there is real danger in that. As long as one can enjoy these experiences while constructively having their critical defenses in place, much can be gained.
