Raj - Sometimes your guest takes a pause ; let them take it. They are not taking the pause because you have asked a difficult question that needs simplification. They are pausing because they have to say so much on that topic that they are organizing their ideas. Let them. When your guests pause, you OUTpause them. By doing so, they will share such rare insights that you never imagined they would. Give it a shot.

So much knowledge! Absolutely free! I was never taught anything about money, I am praying and working to change that. I am 56 no retirement no savings because I made a lot of mistakes when I started investing, trying to correct that now. Already have a few thousand$ saved up to invest for long term. Just buy low sell high. Stick with a good company by either not selling when it’s going lower and/or buying more at that time. Almost always the good well managed companies will come back strong at some point. The other is to get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

I am 68 and I am a regular watcher of your Podcasts. I want you to stop giving Equal Analogy to your Guest and ask only Question based on what the Guest is telling. If you do not have a question, allow the Guest to Speak Continuously. You will definitely get a chance to ask a question. In this programme, it looked like you were trying to match Rajesh. Perhaps, we have missed an opportunity to hear the best of his experience. Also, you could have asked him how much he earned through the Financing Activity. Rajesh was honest in accepting what he did, which is not correct as he rotated somebody else money. He could have perhaps given 50% of what he got through the 2nd round of financing to the Original Financier. But, had he stuck with him, he would not have become what he is today. A great experience he had.

He was a hardly 15 a hard time. One got carried away. But his humbleness he accepted that is a big gesture
Two things that I found really fascinating in this podcast:-
1. That how he created a great profitable business when he was staying at the railway station. And,
2. He got a job in yellow pages just unexpectedly and this incident changed every bit of his life. Had he not gone to drop his friend he would not have gotten the job.
So, in life you just can't say that which thing is gonna help you and which is not. You MUST have to be a believer.

Demla Sir stayed with no money , no food , someone trusted him and gave him an opportunity to lead a good life. But after a few days he too tried to disappear that person who helped him on his worst time in life. So, everyone in this world willingly always takes steps to cheat someone sometimes.

I feel like the people who are in the slums have higher chances of earning more money than the educated ones. Of course, the educated has an advantage, but these guys get the practical knowledge that is just precious. If some one wants to start a business in a middle-class educated family he just can't, It can be because of family pressure. They think the only thing to earn money is what? Government jobs.
But the 40% of indian wealth is in the hands of 100 people the Corporates, the Entrepreneurs, businessmen etc.
Indian Economy thrives because of these guys only.
His story will inspire those who are in search of work and to earn money without doing wrong things.
WOW, So full of knowledge and thought-provoking, it makes someone feel that if something bad happens in your life it's not the end of life. Just Hanging in, Keep struggling, keep progressing, and one day you will do it.

To the question,what changed overnight in a guy who got hike from 15 to 75 lakhs per annum.
It simply means the old company was not capable of giving him the right compansation, either because they didn't have fund or because they don't pay well. And this is the only reason they lost one valuable employee.
I have seen many companies in tech that don't pay their employees as per their skills. Same guy can easily earn 10x just if they find right company.
