India is witnessing a crucial shift as soldiers, scholars, and scientists are increasingly celebrated across platforms. This long-overdue recognition broadens the nation's role models beyond Bollywood stars and cricketers, inspiring youth to pursue diverse fields of excellence. This change is vital for fostering a culture that values knowledge, service, and intellectual achievement.

I am from IIT Kharagpur. On 17/08/2024, Dr. Somanath visited our campus, but due to limited seats in the auditorium, I missed the seminar. This was the event where I had hoped to see Dr. Somanath in person and hear some incredible scientific discussions. I have a dream to work at ISRO as a geoscientist, focusing on measuring moonquakes.😀

I remember Chandrayan 3 landing. I just went back to Tokyo from a vacation in India. We often meet at a restaurant where we have a bunch of Indian, pakistani & bangladeshi guys hanging out together. I took the sweets to distribute and Chandrayan 3 was supposed to land in another 2 minutes. Other than the Indians remaining people were excited about the sweets. So I told everyone to hang on for another couple of minutes, I'll distribute the sweets once our probe lands safely. And indeed, we celebrated Chandrayan 3 in Tokyo with Indian sweets. That moment was really special. ❤❤

damn , am gonna see this multiple times and show it to my kid also. Dr Somanath is an inspiration - such clarity , combined with immense intellect and humility. The universe discussions make my realize - just like there is a grain of sand , we are the same in the universal context. Don't know why the microscopic views & the macroscopic views are so similar : round objects rotating in various ways and energies flowing around. Lots to learn irrespective of the age group. Kudos to Ranveer for bringing Dr Somanath - our next gen needs to be inspired to make positive contributions for country and humanity .
