    I couldn't help but cry out when you first shoved those Escalade tires underneath the Impala - "The boy has got himself a donk!"

      I think the 58 may be my absolute fave, but the 70 is a strong 2nd mostly because I had one... Miss that car. Where can I go to see your print?

    Looks very good. I just bought this kit last night and I'm glad I found your video. I got it at Hobby Lobby 40% off this week.

    Just found your channel in doing research for the build of this car. I'm doing this as part of a GB for @HobbyLinkInternational. Anyway thanks for sharing. 🙂Thomas over at The Model Hobbyist

    Nice build I'm doing the same one as well and I am wondering what is the black stuff you used for the interior and where I can get it.

      it is referred to as flocking or embossing powder. most hobby shops will have some, as well as online (probably cheaper). comes in various different colors too.

    Nice build. For whatever reason I struggle alot with Rust-Oleum and krylon on the body and not anything else. Interior and chassis comes out perfect and when I spray the body , the paint wrinkles all up . It makes no sense . And I almost never mix manufacture paints for that reason .

      are you using a primer/base coat?

    • @richiesspeedshop82
      @richiesspeedshop82 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@doinstuffwiththings Yep. It's a hit or miss. I've done primer/base color. I've done base color only. I've done base color and clear coat . Yesterday I did a test of Fusion clear on a couple sheets of styrene with a Krylon Fusion color that's been dry for over a week. One sheet i did 3 wet coats. It came out fine.The other sheet I did 2 light coats and the third a wet coat and almost immediately it wrinkled up everywhere. Drives me nuts !

    Nice build! The tires are on backwards, I think. Rain groves go from in to outside. Don’t they?

      To be honest I don't remember. Most likely, just a rustoleum rattle can of some sort. Sorry. :(

    Why do that black on carpet look spotty like patches. It’s missin parts. U meant that?

    • @doinstuffwiththings
      @doinstuffwiththings  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, that was a mess up. My glue layer in those spots just wasn't strong enough. Practice makes better.

    Ok, decent build. Not really a fan of the almost donk rims. My big question is what exactly makes this a Foose design? A set of rims and custom air cleaner? Good thing you only paid 16$ I am not impressed with the extras in this rendition. Just a side note my brother had a black 65 ss 327 4 spd I'd like to build one of those as a late 60's driver. Again decent build just not impressed with the Foose design edition.
