The farm clean ups is my most favorite feature about your channel Silas. Finding a solid survivor car like the 65 Chevy is becoming a rarity these days. I'm glad that she has a brighter future at a new home.

    Holy Cow Batman!
What a find! Cars like this helped build America. Not everyone could afford a convertible or hardtop. This was a family car, most likely this family had kids. They had to make pennies count. Basic transportation, but they had an Impala instead of a Biscayne. My Dad's first new car was a 1960 Chevy.
He first brought home a White '60 Impala 4 door sedan. (Demo) Mom said it was too costly, so he took it back and brought a '60 Belair 4 door sedan. She said OK. The price difference was around $17.00 a month difference. We could afford the Belair, but not the Impala! With 3 boys to raise, they had to be careful with the monies available.
Great video as usual! I know I'm addicted! Better this than booze or drugs! Over 20 minutes too! Good job!

'65 Impala 'Base Sedan.' It's got the "L22" 250 with an "M40" Powerglide Automatic. The Color is "Artisan Turquoise Poly." That's about as "Base" as a Car got back then. The only Options it has from Factory is the Heater and the Powerglide Trans. A real sweat shop on Wheels. Lol. IF you don't find a buyer......Did ya notice the Blue AC Oil Filter on the wall up to the right??

In my mind the old Impala is a jewel you folks in Kansas are lucky to still have cars like I see in your videos around today. Most here in NC where I live are gone now. Even the old C-10 Chevy trucks that GM made for many years are drying up. Most salvage yards sold the old vehicles for scrap around our area many years ago. I love the work you are doing nothing like the old automotive iron IMO, cheers.

Man looking at the interior of this car, reminds me of my dad's 1965 impala ss 396 turbo 400. It was dark blue, completely stock. I remember riding with my mom to the A&P grocery store. My dad was a gear head so I knew about cars very early. We lived close to Rockingham motor speedway, always went to the races, he had a 1946 chevy pickup 348/4 speed. Back to the impala, I wish I could find that car, everytime I see one I think about mom and dad.

The '65 Impala was the last truly classic Impala. Maybe the '66, but it had a heavy looking rear-end. That ice-blue color in and out is perfect. Interesting that the original owner opted for the Impala, yet eliminated the V-8, power assists, and even full wheel-covers (I actually like the dog-dish ones better). It actually makes me wonder why the Bel Air wasn't ordered. All that was gained was some outside and inside trim upgrades and more decorative seating.
