Paula Jai Parker is fine as frog's hair. And David Alan Grier was amazing. Definitely different from his other roles. Like Keanu Reeves in The Gift. Just a total departure.
Classic movie. The doll story is the best. The story with the dude in jail is just a black clockwork orange rip off. So strange, but I love hearing you dudes cover these classic black films. Yall been getting me through work
I seen this when it first came out. I was 7 years old & lived in san diego. To experience it when it first came out was scary af. You must've just seen this recently so you see the ending cheesy. That devil scared the shit out of me when I was little. I would sleep with the lights on when I was little & the doll was creepy also. Classic movie overall.
Classic movie and my dad's favorite horror movie (he loves the doll story) so I've seen it alot. I enjoyed all of the stories but the only one that gave me chills was the Crazy K story due to the lynching footage that was constantly flashing. I've seen alot of those photos before and read the backstories of some of the victims. I even saw a vid on TH-cam from a 90's news story with an elderly white woman who was a child during one of those photos and talked as if it was a fond memory. So horrifying. Good review though 🙂
I had to force myself to look at those pictures and read some of the stories. I can’t imagine reading from your perspective with how angry, sad and disappointed I was. Appreciate you…tell your dad we said hi!

I can see that! The devil part was dope, to be clear. The fire CGI was just bad. Everything else was fantastic!!
