    I do the same. 100% correct. It makes a big difference. I have a short mettal rod with a slot cut in to it with a dremmel. You can cut your sandpaper in strips and pull it through the slot. That is only for the breach area to make a nice loading tapre for the slugs. I put it on a cordless drill. Then pollish the burs off the rifling at the end when done. The Spa barrels are quite soft. Have to be carefull. The Avenger barrel was super hard and took a lot of work. When done you should be able to almost drop that slug to loading depth.

    If selecting a .25 cal LW barrel to shoot strictly slugs, would you get the Poly barrel or Std 10 groove barrel? Would you get the Choked or Unchoked version? Do you believe a 17.7" twist would be good to shoot slugs? Hoping to hear from you.

      Depending on the weight of the slugs, it might not be a strong enough twist rate to stabilise the pellet enough to be accurate.

      @@farzadzamanfar1904 that’s pretty simple. I have a really great understanding of how the air flow is where it flows from. What pressures need to be. I have to watch the video. I don’t know if I said something wrong. I’m coming out with some new videos, chill and pressures. Working pressures. Oh my guns shoot over 1100 FPS they’re all supersonic and they all shoot under a half inch group at 100 yards. I’ll be showcasing how top guys shooting expensive guns saying that you can’t shoot. And her accuracy is unbelievable. It’s awakening that you see a new company 7 years old. Making barrels so precise that they are achieving accuracy. That companies have been around for 100 years can’t get close to. Check out the MCAR . I think the backyard airguns just did a video on it. He’s shooting it at 5000 psi fill pressure so lower pressure. And it still shoots unbelievable groups of 400 yards. I messaged him I told him to get the 7000 PSI kick so he can tighten the group up to half of what it is. And that air gun looks like a Barrett 50 CAL I think it’s 5 foot tall. @@terminadorairgunsandoutdoors I seen your vid polishing your kral I think it was. Do you think lapping it the way he showed first then a polish would make it more accurate. Cause you're polish alone got a significant improvement. I have an avenger doing 2" at 100 yards. ½" at 50 so I imagine the cuts on the pellet are affected more by the wind at longer range. And idk if it would be worth it or not. Or just polish and leave as is.

      @@JoeMama-hl5qc Hard to say. My Kral barrel saw a big improvement, but my Uragan barrel didn’t have any noticeable affect. It was already a pretty accurate CZ barrel. Maybe the less expensive barrels just need a bit of finish work done to them to reach their full potential.

    @JK-sn6tv 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Lol thats not how you lap barrels roflmao or take away chokes... Also valve return spring dose very little on valve opening force.. like next to nothing.. reshaping valve seal and having it flat reduces it far more. Reason you gain alot on certain airguns by removing valve return spring has more to do with valve return spring and its bushing obstructing dirrect flow and causing turbulence and slowing flow out from valve... Only thing you are correct on is that you dont really need valve returnspring or its bushing on anything in traditional valves.. but this is nothing new lol...
