She loves the idealized concept of her children more than her children themselves.

Lucky Zed No, my point stands. Being merciful to children whom she loves as extensions of herself doesn't negate her narcissism. If she loved them outright she wouldn't be so cruel to them when they've disappointed her, and she wouldn't fixate on Joffrey while largely ignoring the others.

What I love about this is his confidence. They way he walks into each scene. Scene 1 the dwarf walks in and insults the king followed by a mercenary and a group of brigands he got to work with him through words rather than strength.
Then scene 2 he walks into a room of the highest ranked people in the kingdom whistling rains of castamere. Again he is the smallest one there but his confidence shows he is the most powerful in the room as the only one to question him is the queen regent, who Tyrion then puts in her place.
If only Tywin let go of his resentment for Tyrion, then he would have realized he was the perfect heir.

He and Tywin (and to a lesser extent Olenna Tyrell) were literally the only people willing to explicitly call Cersei out for how stupid and poor at playing the Game of Thrones she is. Margaery was willing to be super caddy about it, but she never explicitly insulted her like Tywin and Tyrion did. I don't care if Cersei's at where she is right now in the show, it's under the worst circumstances possible because the best Cersei can do is take a large, blunt object approach towards solving all her problems and literally everyone now hates her, which is somehow more people than hated her before.

    • @mareksilhart3307

She was queen mother, it was from part her fault. It was Tyrion who destroyed the enemies at Kings landing. She has won nothing, only lost all her children, all her legacy, the reason to play that game. And now she pulled lannisters into trouble by indebting them to afford golden company to have one more vain, desperate attempt to play game of thrones. She is indeed the most powerful? Naah, she is weak, even a random, foolish guy from the mob persuading people that he can communicate with gods by whatever way was more powerful than her. Even with the greatest army in the world she will be very weak, compusilve puppet that takes everything too personally, puppet that respects only power, puppet that sees all lords equal to her in power and weatlh as her enemies, so inevitably if her rule continues, nothing will be left at the end. And this is not how the game of thrones is played well, since it slowly will turn, and it actually already happened, everyone against her. Cercei is obviously not clever at all, but she thinks quite the opposite.

Yes Myrcella was in Dorne but she still could have done something from there. Especially considering her future brother in law was one of Tyrion's judges. And Jaime could have easily talked Tommen round if he'd thought of it and he's the king so even if he did recuse himself at the start it didn't matter.

Margery gives Tommen some companionship and affection in his endless miserable life of negligent absent father, jealous scheming mother, hellish brother, losing his sister. Obviously she equates this to ‘MaNiPuLaTiOn’. What a sad human being honestly. I don’t care about no witch prophecy, she brought everything on herself. All could have been easily avoided. I love the character development they gave Sansa. Sophie did an amazing job. You can see a psychologically tortured young girl who has to pretend to survive, and even then she's tormented and humiliated by someone she is meant to spend the rest of her life with.
I hated her in season 1, but when her eyes were opened she became one of my favorite characters

Really Wish Tywin had been there with Tyrion when Cersei revealed that they only had Sansa and had let Arya escape, I would have loved to have seen the look on his face when he heard that

I wished they kept the dialogue in the books when Tyrion and Sansa end up alone and he tells her "Yes, as loyal as a deer surrounded by wolves"
    "Lions" Sansa whispered.

What an all-around brilliant sequence!! That "why are you here?" from Joffrey was so good, almost with comedic timing. And the witty dialog between the siblings... 👌

at 2:12 Tyrion says "there's so much to be thankful for" and took a rough look to littlefinger... ahahah brilliant, never relized that scene until now... littlefinger told Catelyn Stark that Tyrion was who sent that guy to kill Bran and Tyrion knows that. Some part of my life is complete now.
