I've lost alot of friends to addiction so I've always understood this song.. but my dad recently overdosed and passed around the first of this year.. now this song hits different. 💔

I am a emotional person when i am by myself and i can mainly hold my emotions with other people. But this song just makes me bail my eyes out, all the time, no matter where i am. Its honestly the most heartbreaking song i have ever heard in my near 30 years of life!!
NF is One of my favorite Artist
I haven't seen anyone get through this one without crying. Its gut wrenching but also so cathartic. Whether or not we lost a parent to drug addiction we have all lived through some tragedy. And I think that's why we connect with it so. To me the line "Why do I feel like I lost something that I never had." Totally hit home for me. He Gets It!!! No matter how old we get we are still a child who needs their parents love and approval. You both always have great insights. God Bless!

I've Subscribed to your channel as Happy by NF drew me to your reactions and i like your duo. I'm going through and watching all your NF reactions and I'm sorry to hear about your relationship with your mother. I too had a fallout years ago for sometime with both her and my older brother, basically kicked me out of the house at that point.
I don't know why, by finally my older brother after some time invited me over for Mother's Day. I decided to go with my wife and daughter. That's the last time my daughter was seen alive and healthy, she had a seizure the following morning that she never recovered from. Passed away a month later.
Anyway, I don't know if I would've been able to forgive her if she hadn't at least seen her that day. She already didn't see her enough. Maybe 3 times prior? I just hope you can rekindle your relationship at some point but I do agree depending on the circumstances, some are not meant to be. I hope the best for you.

Thanks for the reaction. This one is unfortunately so relatable to me. I lost my mom to prescription drugs almost 11 years ago. I'm so glad that Nate said he forgives his mom in Motto because he was in a different place when he recorded this. 🖤🤍
