my tip? turn phone info "Plane mode".. It'll save many timelapses from crash by incoming calls :D

+EMT yep low battery warning has already ruined some for me...
I guess on that note another good tip would be to, whenever one is recording a time lapse, plug in one of those external batteries :-)

E M T yeah! Placed the order today, apple says I’ll have it by Wednesday... we’ll see. The main feature I’m interested in is ActiveTrack so I can work on projects in my shop and stay in frame. I’ve enjoyed using timelapse in my videos, so I’m also looking forward to making them a bit more dynamic. Thanks for asking!

PATIENCE! Most people are underestimating that factor in producing good videos. Thank you for mentioning that! In other turorials I only hear about technical options. But this one is the most important one.

Haven't really figured a niche out yet. I've got 2 or 3 subjects in mind, but waiting for the Osmo Mobile 2 to arrive. I've got a DJI P3 SE, but just ordered a Mavic Air, and recently acquired an RV. So travel may be in the cards, but again, not sure. I've only posted a few drone vids at this point. Thanks so much once again.

The hyperlapse seems very cool. I just got my Osmo last week and I'm still learning how to use it. I have a Note-8 and it's very hard to get it totally balanced. Love your channel and how well you teach. It's great for newbies like myself.

Exposure lock is a great tip, but might get tricky when you try to tap on the tracking icon (you can miss the tap and unlock exposure).
Instead you can click on the camera icon and choose Manual Adjust. That will let you choose settings like ISO, SHUTTER and WB. It let's you choose your preferred settings before the shooting day and keeps it on for the whole time.

Yo dude, thanks for all the tips here. I tried a sunset timelapse last night with my OSMO mobile 2 with fixed exposure settings like you recommended in tip 3. That worked fine for this kind of timelapse, but this morning I did the same for sunrise and that didn't work.
My tip, don't use fixed exposure for sunrise because the image will brighten up and gets over exposed.

I see you got the Manfrotto mini tripod, and I plan to get that one too as soon as I can get the Osmo Mobile 2. But I understand DJI also got a special stand for the Mobile 2, so not sure if I should get that instead.. I got a large tripod for my photo camera, but don't want to carry that around when I plan to use the Osmo...

Definitely! I decided on the manfrotto for how practical it is and its size. Price is a bit more attractive but the DJI model is a bit more durable. Either way I’m sure you’ll love em! Keep me in the look when you get your Osmo Mobile 2! I’d love to see your take on it!

Awesome video once again, these are tips I'll be using especially that exposure lock, didn't know about that. Only did 1 hyper lapse so far and wasn't that great, but still learning the ins and outs. Also quick question, better the SD card at writing speeds, better quality 4k video as far as artifacting etc. when editing or uploading to youtube?
