Wow!!!! Thanks for the tips this is really helpful for begginers like me in the world of cinematography. I bought the DJI OM4 but I hate the fact of being limitated to the settings they give me so I just open my normal camera app while connected to yhe MIMO app and Problem solved lol. yep I never use the gimbal apps I don't like them but the smooth 4 works with filmic pro used to love using it

Yes, another excellent video. It's always the same, whether film processing, fisheye lenses, Cokin filters, photoshop filters or gimbal shots: content is king, a rubbish shot is always a rubbish shot whatever you do to it!
Nian is one of the best movie I have seen. It is a fun and creative short film. And the fun thing it is shot on an Iphone 12 pro max. Its plot is very good.

Thank you for this sir! As a novice and a hobbyist, I've found all of your tutorial videos most helpful (esp. the How To's with DJI Osmo Mobile gimbal and their Mimo app). So much appreciated. I totally agree with you here, that less is more - I've been guilty of using the gimbal too much. It's so samey. For instance, I now yawn every time I see an aerial drone shot, which is pretty much in everything. Anyway, thank you!

I love using the OSMO mobile 3 but can honestly say I never use the mimo app for any videos/films. Ok for vlogging but useless for filmmaking.

I found that if I paired my Xiaomi 9T Pro to the gimbal, I could use the shutter button and zoom with the native app. The M button also changes between video and still shot mode. Wow! Thanks for putting me onto this!

Mam I wish I would have seen this before buying an OM4. Saw another video saying it was a great accessory for the s21 Ultra but it doesn't even use the phones full capabilities. Great video!

switch bluetooth on, pair with the gimbal and then open Pro Video. Record button should trigger record in the app

Your videos are the reason I got a DJI OM gimbal for my Note 20 Ultra. My preference is to use native Samsung Cam app but even when connected to bluetooth it does not work. Any suggestions? The Mimo app wasn't available so I downloaded an APK of it and I cant find MODE category on it. Any help is appreciated and thanks a million for these wonderful videos and tips!
I don't use any apps. Just manually control the gimbal and use the native camera. I've never even bothered to download the DJI app.
I turned my cellphone's bluetooth, wifi and data off to save battery life when filming.

Generally people dont really care about ultimate picture quality 4k 8k etc.. Its the content that matters. What moves them.
I always find using the app slays the battery much prefer the camera app for longevity

I don't own a DSLR. So it's Samsung only
I have a cover for my iPhone 12pro and prefer to keep it on. Does the magnetic clip work on a cover? The cover is a QDOS and is a great quality. Would the cover also affect the weight and stabilisation on the gimbal?
Question for you ..which screen protector is better to use for my Galaxy S21 Ultra ?? THe DJI Osmo Mobile 4 damaged my phone's screen protector ..The clip is too strong....If you know what I mean....

that shot was actually taken with a Zhiyun Smooth Q2 - but I was just using to illustrate the point on not overdoing it.

I bought one of these a few days ago and I'm having trouble figuring out how to get rid of the lag when you go around a corner. As I turned the corner the camera is still pointing in the direction that I was traveling and then finally swings around out of all the videos I watched on TH-cam I have not seen a single video that shows people actually filming themselves using the gimbal in different scenarios outside or indoor. I guess I'll keep looking.

Hello, I now also have the Dji Om 4 and I use an Android phone. There are still not many features in the app. My question is, is the video stabilizer of the phone enabled or disabled for you?

Are we supposed to turn off Image Stabilization options on our phones(One Plus 7 Pro) while using the gimbal for videos? Thanks in advance. Just bought the DJI OM 5.
Usually I would turn it off, especially if the device only has EIS

Hello its a good video,, can i ask i shoot on 60 fps then slow later, what fps to export? Can i export to the same fps or should i go to 30fps ?? Mobile phone edit only .thanks
60fps on 60fps timeline = no slow
60fps on 30fps timeline is 0.5x the speed
60fps on 24fps is 0.4x the speed
120fps on a 30fps timeline is 0.25x the speed
120fps on a 24fps timeline is 0.2x the speed
Step 1 , uninstall the app.
Step 2 use the gimbal manually.
Now you can use any resolution your camera supports. In my case I have 4k , 60 fps and 8k 30fps
I am a Realtor and I am looking for equipment to shoot houses and informational videos around the area. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it is to heavy or big for my Smove Mobile 3. I also use a Boys wireless mic I would like to use with it.do you think the DJI Osmo 4 would be a good fit?

I like OM 4, but if you have a heavier phone you will probably need a bigger gimbal
