Asking a question , I practice to LB RP and I wanted to askby doing so recently. I had another magician online. Say that it brings out the demons that you need to deal with by doing an l B r p ? It does everything that you said in this video. And I believe in that, but now I'm dealing with a lot of drama and chaos in my life. And I wondered if the The pentagram ritual causes things you have to work on , such as demons within ourselves. ?
You must learn psychic protection before attempting any occult practice. It should be the first thing to learn. I have read the LBRP lights you up on the astral plain attracting all manner of energies and spirits. You need to know how to deal with these beforehand. Also a lot of old practices in books have blinds to mislead the uninitiated so you need to study well to realise where they are. Slow and careful steps are advised, trial and error will occur and this is where having studied protections and such in advance comes in handy. Many jump in hoping for massive power and goodness what else but the true aim is union with the universe and the deity that is within and without. You effectively become one with deity and so a deity yourself with all the creative energy of the deity at your disposal. Some say asking for wealth is black magic but you can't progress far without books and stuff to guide you in those practices so to want money for a noble cause like raising your spiritual self higher towards the divine is hardly black magic. It only becomes such if you do it out of personal greed as that would lead you astray and away from divinity.
Please can you touch on the perspective that Josephine McCarthy has on the LBRP? She is quite anti the use of it daily and I would like to hear more of what other people think about that
From personal experience, as someone who’s relatively new to all this, it’s one of the only means of training imagination for me, as the GD clearly states many times not to attempt more advanced rituals until you’ve initiated to a certain degree. That being said, practicing it everyday for me has a clear distinct feeling of power each time I go through it very intentionally, even though it takes me close to an hour as I’m strengthening my mind and working more and more on not losing distraction and redirecting myself to the meditation when I lose focus. It’s also very interesting because doing the Kabbalistic cross before and after, I always notice the KC is much more visceral and powerful after I go through the LBRP and easy to focus on. I don’t have anything else to do daily than that.
I believe it was from John Michael Greers book “Paths of Wisdom” where he mentions to alternate banishing and invoking pentagrams daily. I can’t remember if I read this in a book or on an occult discussion group that some have found it undesirable to just use the banishing form of LBRP due to the possibility of it bringing imbalance by an overemphasis on clearing the energy. Most students would also want to invoke forces in balance with clearing out energies. The goal of most magicians would be to increase the influx of spiritual light to their body in congruence with their capacity to absorb that spiritual light. Overemphasizing banishing can hinder this influx of energies. I have experimented with this myself and find that when I need more grounded and stable energy in my life I will focus more on the banishing for a few days instead of alternating. Sometimes I have needed to do more banishing than invoking to help balance out any chaotic energies I’ve got going in my sphere.
@@sadidiot9686 that's why visualisation of the circle drawn during the LBRP is important - it creates a boundary within the mind (intention) and an energetic barrier plus the invocation of whatever beings you have chosen to use for the 4 quarters. Any ritual without specific 'defensive' components will light you up on the astral - that's also why doing LVX and using license to depart during planetary workings (as per rituals originating in the GD system) is important - the rituals themselves don't specifically involve defensive components. Think McCarthy is being a little paranoid 2bh - the LBRP is used in varying forms across many Magick systems with great success.
