I think tea-length wedding dresses can look lovely, but I went for just-below-the-ankle myself. I am not graceful enough to move perfectly in a floor length gown, and the last thing I wanted to do was trip.

I don’t think it was about the price for the mom (she’s the one who on the outset increased the budgets)..the mom didn’t love the dress and says so at 7:41 ...I think the mom was only on board in the end because her daughter loved this dress and that’s what’s important.

So I just said some woke statements that everyone will like. For example, "Its ur day my say shouldn't matter". And then I checked the comment section and everyone was all praises for me. I made the woke audience happy. Its not like they would understand family ties and bonds and they think a Mom is only for paying bills and when it comes to being a part of ur children's life "She has no right to say". Someone who gave u birth. But now IDC they believe in individuality and not family ties. They are woke and now so am I. Idc that u looked trash on ur wedding day. You are not alone. If the area were higher up, I think it would completely flatter her chest so much better! It makes her look like her boobs sag alllllllll the way down to "there". Possibly line the remaining halter part all the way around...it would be absolutely stunning.

Yes. I wish the mom would have asked - if the sweetheart part of the bodice could be brought up about an inch on her decollete ...as that may have made the difference in the proportions of the dress.

For once i like the mom. Yes she kept saying no but for the right reasons. The pannels on the 1st dress skirt is no. The sheer didn't look good but with the layer in it was perfect 😍 i just wish the viel had sparkle and the dress a sparkly belt to complete the look as she said she wanted lots of sparkle. If mom didn't come i think bride would of picked wrong dress

My daughter is getting married next year & has already said "Yes to the Dress" a month ago. She tried on 6 different gowns and looked beautiful in all of them but her sister & I knew which dress she loved because when she came out of the dressing room her face was beaming. This bride did the same thing with her dress once they added the paneling. When you know, you just know!
I can't imagine doing this to my daughters. Whatever makes the bride happy is what matters. My daughter is getting married in a powder blue Lolita style dress this weekend and she's STUNNING.

tjoebatjoep the dress was 5 sizes to big for her, and she’s a dancer teacher, she has a special dance in her wedding that she can’t do if she got a fitted dress. Keep in mind the season her weddings in as well. I think she looks brilliant!

The bustline needs to be raised, it makes it looks like her books are sagging, which they aren't! She has a lovely willowy figure, I think a slinky dress would be stunning on her, or at least get a ballroom dress that is really clingy and soft (unstructured) on top! ❤

I think in the UK version, it is more of finding a dress that all like whereas in the US version, it is more about the bride, if she likes it, the consultant fights for her choice and don't try to find another dress to please the other people.

I'm glad the mom finally got out of the way to allow her daughter to shine on her own. I liked the dress much more with the lining. The skirt portion was cut so nicely, and the sparkle was just right on the top.
Mum was spot on throughout. Even when she backed off at the right moment, she was right to. The dress improved with the panel for sure

well meaning or not i would never let anyone influence anything i buy. if it was my wedding dress i was choosing and i found a dress i felt beautiful, and amazing in and that i loved that would be my dress. I don' care if my mother or my friends like a different style of dress or prefer a different dress to the one i liked it is my day and my dress. this mother needs to realise it is her daughters day and she is choosing the dress.
