If I could afford Lian Li fans I would definitely have them.. My Interstellar V2's are really good though, 3x for the price of one Lian Li fan is really great value.. Great Vid Mike & Kath..
I hear lots of chatter about Lian Li and mostly criticising but having watched your review I can only be amazed by the refinement to the fan lighting and speed options. I can see why its biased to only Lian Li fans has promoting own products! Does this software allow you to set up separate fan colours or other lighting effects? Thanks for reviewing Mike and Kath 🐈👍

@@mikesunboxing Thanks for offer but worked it out now it was the firmware or lack of any that was the problem. i installed it manually then all the setting appeared on my dashboard
L-connect is crap, it causes frame stuttering. Try UFO test > browser Animation Timing Precision Graph and see the spikes you are getting. Now do ctrl + shift + escape, locate "L-connect Service" process, right click, End task. See how smooth it becomes. Then L-Connect Service reboot by itself and the stuttering comes back. Does the same with NZXT cam by the way...

yes there is a lot of RGB options to create insane lighting effects
Is the black box thingy, come with your case or do you need to buy it separately?
I have lian li lancool 216, but the fan setting doesnt appear
the 216 has normal PWM and ARGB fans, the black controller box is for the sl120 etc that have a different connection lead and need software to control
So there is more to the software than people think 😲

I have the strimers and the sl infinity 120 fans. The software is always buggy.

what does visual c++ do and do u have to have it?
it is the language the app is programmed in so it is required
when i download the software all it shows is settings and system info there's no fan/lighting/utility tabs showing
is the USB hub connected to the motherboard USB headers?

Is this software conflicting with icue software i heard a lot of horrible things about this
yeah that is why you should try and stick to one eco system, this is very common for RGB software to conflict

i think a lot of motherboard monitoring or fan monitoring software will do this as it is polling the system and using system interrupts
Hey man the fans arnt showing up on the software but my fans are spinning any reason why?
is the hub connected and showing in the software or device manager?
