Hello! The user Dragon Chang has brought to my attention this video th-cam.com/video/E5rx4v5WBvY/w-d-xo.html , which showcases this new silkbind attack. We can observe the following from the video: - It is called "シールドバンプ", which translates to "Shield Bump" when fed into Google translate. - It is performed by ZL+X, the same inputs as falling shadow. - It costs one wirebug to perform. - The wirebug cooldown is about 10 seconds, which is 4 seconds longer than falling shadow. - You can in fact do the hard basher combo immediately afterwards. - It does appear to have i-frames, but we don't know how generous it is yet. - My estimate for the motion value of this attack is about 31. You can see in the video that it did 92 damage on Lunagaron's head, whereas the shield bash did 60. Both attacks were crits. It is still unknown on how much stun this attack does. Hopefully we get to play around with this move in the demo soon!
Speaking of which, if this new shield charge replaces falling shadow, my idea of having a scroll set to shield moves, and another set to sword moves is becoming more reasonable. It won't really be optimal, but I'll call it royal guard and swordmaster curtesy of dmc
Do Ou think talents like guard will be viable for sns in sunbreak? I'm rather new to the weapon and switched from gunlance since well ..... Its rise gl^^ btw thanks for the great rise sns guide video you did! I learned quite a lot

@@SKY85sr i guess... seems like it doesnt deal a lot of damage. But it got decent i-frame and good recovery and big hitbox. Seems better than Falling Shadow based on what i look. if you haven't seen it. You can try searching "片手剣 " in youtube

Thank you! I'm not sure what you mean by "talents." But if you mean the armor skill Guard, then I don't think it will be viable for sns.
