    Backhop is the signature move of SnS but I did not see “really” backhop in this trailer, I hope Capcom doesn’t neft it for couterguard become more useful. And in the SA clip I saw hook skill, maybe SnS have a hookskill like shield bash repace wirebug by hook. From what I saw focus mode will perform skill while monsters have wound look like a claw skill perform while monsters flicked, I think there is will be new mechanic slash damage will make more wounds for open focus combo, and blunt damage still for stun and KO

    My main hopefor Wilds' sns would be te be able to abuse the wounding mechanic., with all the repositionning we have we could more effectivly target 1 part to more efficiently wound the monsters and do a lot of focus strikes. I really like the idea of the starter (and "purest") weapon being able to abuse universal mechanics better. Also some more advantages to being able to use items with the weapon drawn, as you said, it really feels like a forgettable gimmick.
    It's a nice video, especially the "missing" part, really interesting insight from experienced people is very cool, keep up the good work !

    Great analysis. I really hope change the moveset the way in the way you talked about. Could tidy up the moveset a bit.
    Sunbreak SnS is probably the clostest to the perfect version of the weapon for me and even it has some problems like how PR isn't powerful enough to justify the commitment.
    Also would love if they got rid or rework guard-slash. As a way to access the parry in Rise it's fine but if this game just has a perfect block it's going to be obsolete again.

      Perfect Rush is still decently powerful in Sunbreak, just not Iceborne levels of OP.
      And yeah, guard slash is just a failed backstep. I'm not gonna miss guard slash if it gets removed.

    As a sns main in both world and rise, I feel like there is nothing "new" or "cool" about sns in this overview that make me feel exciting, every other weapons just have so many things going on for them and sns is just... meh? Like it just doing the same thing that it has always been, idk if that's is a bad thing or not, maybe it's just me tho

    capcom is holding sns in a prison since gu. Its underwhelming. Positioning moves are nice to have but i guess MV would be garbage
