That hug at the last between Nas and Jimmy sums up the emotion and respect the two legends share for each other. Will miss watching English Test summer without Jimmy.
True 😢
Anyone who call a legend Stupid is himself Stupid
Shocked to See Only 33k views For Such A Legendary bowler 😮😶
@@ictfan23 Absolutely True
Nas was his first captain , but its emotional to see him done
As an Aussie I can only say he has been an inspiration of tenacity and longevity. Kudos to you mate
❤❤❤
Cheers from Australia Jimmy.
We've always loved our traditional battle for the Ashes, and you've made such a wonderful impact on so many Australian cricket fans.
All the best.
Cheers from aussie as well!! Thanks for the battle in the ashes and being involved in two 5 -0 losses!
@@prasithoudomvilay8454 don't worry we will reverse that in australia
@@Cliff589no offence m8 but have you been on the beers today or maybe guiness like jimmy anderson 🤣 becuase there is no way we are winning 5-0 in australia in the next ashes series there is optimism and blind faith and then there is reality 🤣
@@simonoliver8576 and there is brandy
@@Cliff589 true that
Last of the very great bowlers in test cricket, He started of in the era of Warne, Murali, McGrath, Tendulkar, Lara, Kallis, Ponting.... and just retiring now shows the consitancy and the dedication he has.
❤❤❤
Watch rabada, bumrah and cummins join the ranks from this generation. Ashwin and lyon already there!
@@rihitjamb3757most of them you named can’t do test cricket at this level..
@@rihitjamb3757 They aren't in Anderson's class
@@PoetofHateSpeech yeah true. They are better. Anderson is good but cummins and bumrah are just much much better. Its not even a comparrison
Congratulations from New Zealand, Jimmy!
Sublime cricketer. Will miss watching you in action 🏏
Wasn’t Nasser his first ever captain as well? What an amazing ride life takes you on. All the best Jimmy. Enjoy your retirement. You are an absolute legend of the game. Love, from India.
Yes he was
James Anderson GOAT 🐐
Deserves one wtc trophy 🏆
He had 2010 t20 wc so nothing to worry about
Thank you Jimmy, an inspiration to all.👌🫡
I think the last hug showed how emotional this conversation was for nas and Jimmy both.jimmy made debut in the captaincy of nas and now left the game as goat .will miss u a lot Jimmy .I hope I will keep seeing u in some form.respect and love from india❤
Miss u jimmy😢 greatest ever bowler in test cricket end of an era 😢😭

I am 21 and play club cricket in Pakistan. Jimmy Anderson has always been my favorite player in Test matches
❤❤❤
Converted katue😂😂😂
All the best bro. Work hard, make your country proud
Look forward to singing: "When he makes it swing, the Barmy Army sing @mokhand4169"
Good luck fella.
abbu changed?
The only bad part is the fact that his last match didn't go to day 5. That being said, at least everybody knew that his walk out to the pitch today was going to be the last. Amazing player, and a well deserved retirement.
He was very emotional while talking.. literally crying.. If Nasser would've taken this interview at crowded it would've been really amazing 🤩🤩
He has not done it for only English Cricket but he inspired the whole world ❤ . Thank You Anderson 🙏
Greatest ever bowler In test cricket 🏏 miss u Jimmy 😢 ❤ from 🇮🇳 India
It's always so sad for all real cricket fans around the world when the true greats hang up their boots.
You guys have had a few: Sachin, Rahul, Sunil, Kapil... When it happens you wonder how the game will survive without the thrill of watching them. I guess they come and go but my era, as an Englishman, has been defined by Jimmy. 704 test wickets (almost twice Botham's tally of 383) and 114 Not Outs (second is Courtney Walsh with 61). Some players are not like the others and they are the benchmark against which others are compared. "When he makes it swing, the Barmy Army sing: Jimmy Anderson"
What a career, what a man. Fitting that his former Captain Nas was the one to see him off with this interview. Best of luck Jimmy moving forward.
Love from India 🇮🇳.. Cook and anderson ♥️♥️
What a player and what a great ambassador of our game.
James Anderson is one of England's best bowlers to have ever played the game.
The end of a legendary Test career for James Anderson
🇬🇧 21 Years
🏟️ 188 Tests
🔴 40,037 balls
🎯 704 Wickets
✋ 32 Five-wicket hauls
Thank You Jimmy for Entertaining us From Since last 21 years 🥺👏
Congrats on an amazing career jimmy. You have given the fans so many great days. Memories that will live for a long time
Cheers Jimmy from India ....
You have inspired many generations. ❤
I agree, no other sport brings out the kind of bonding and camaraderie between a group of individuals that cricket does.
💯
Why such moments arrive..why can't they play forever? It's just sad to see cricket freaks leaving the field once and for all..?
The greatest sportsman english cricket has ever produced..watching his magical swing bowling over the last couple of decades has been a privilege..it's just not acceptable that he's leaving cricket as a player..all the best.. champ 👍🙏🏻
I didn't watched his 21 years of career but I watched his 10 yrs of career thank for the great memories legend 🫡🫶 much love from India 🇮🇳
This was a day we all hoped would never come, it seems jimmy bowled his last ball the same as he bowled his first, with pride and a quiet smile, knowing he is living his dreams. We have followed you and all of your current and previous team mates through the massive heights, and the horrible lows of english cricket, and for me there has been no better sight than seeing you nip one in late and off stump cartwheeling away. You are an inspiration and a roll model that all sportsmen should aim to be like, and thank you for 21 years of entertaining us. Whatever you choose to do next, go well jimmy, and thank you
He made his international debut when I was a teenager. I turn 40 next week. His longevity, consistency and example make him a legend even without all the wickets. What a man. Class act.
Well played Jimmy 🙌
Enjoy the second innings of your life!
That's quite a poignant comment. Well said.
Happy retirement legendary bowler Jimmy Anderson 😢😌
Love from Nepal ❤

Thank you Jimmy for everything. I always used to wait for English Test summer to arrive to watch you bowl. It has given me immense joy over the years to watch you bowl and deliver for your country time and time again. Test cricket will not be the same without you. End of an era. ❤️
Thank you Anderson for all the glamor and the excitement you gave the entire cricketing world, from all formats of the game. I wish you a good life on your retirement from the game, i wish you and your family well in everything for the years ahead, thank you very much. Love from the Caribbean!!!
Happy Retirement Jimmy… Lots of love from India❤❤
Amazing longevity. This guy could still play at this age.
I remember seeing Anderson in his very early days for England with red mohawk and watch, and thought "we won't see much more of this lad at the top level". I'm glad I was wrong. He's been a stalwart for England.
A bright star has been fallen from the cricket's sky.....
Miss you Jimmy... Miss your swing....
respect the family that he had
Because they helped him a lot to achieve such greatness as fast bowler
Such a Gd Human Being overall
Salute from Pakistan 🥺

Legendary player ❤ wishing you the best on your retirement
we will miss you jimmy in field. love you sir. best wishes for future
Thanks Jimmy for all the wonderful years you displayed your skills. Amazing Talent. 🇨🇦 . You will be missed.
Thanks Jimmy
The fun fact is that he was just 4 wickets behind from shane warne, as shane warne has 708 wickets and he was on 704. But he didn't look to break that record and make his own to be on 2nd highest wicket taker in Test. That's some legendary attitude.
Best to ever do it! Thanks for the great memories.
Fast bowler who made look fast bowling so beautiful.. a fairy tale career.. inspiration for generations.. full respect and love to James Anderson from India..❤
It is a pleasure to hear Nasser Hussain. His articulation, his knowledge of the game, and most importantly his EQ shines forth.
As for Anderson, tons of respect.
Generally sportsmen who have such imposing records of performance & longevity, tend to be inward-looking. I remember Anderson becoming more emotional than Alastair Cook after the latter's final test.
A warm-herated person.
Thanks for the memories Jimmy. Loved watching you over your 21 years of artistry. From a Yorkshireman in Melbourne. Cheers
Thank you Jimmy for being Jimmy..🤟✌️❣️
End of an era...!! Thank you Jimmy...

Thank you Jimmy! for all the incredible memories.. Greatest pacee ever in our era.. Thank you again for kept us still enjoying the beauty of Test Cricket...!!❤❤
I was 12 years of age when I first saw him playing and now 33,an absolute pleasure seeing him retiring after an extremely successful career.Wish Jimmy a great and peaceful life ahead🎉
Thanks Jimmy i have some fantastic memories watching you, listening to you on the radio
That last bit where nas gets emotional is what we're here for. They are english, the most cultured and when they see emotions like this, it's great
He is to fast bowling what Sachin and Bradman are to batting. At 41, it feels like he still got it. His longevity considering the challenges faced by fast bowlers speaks for itself. All the best legend James Anderson.
It is Legends such as James Anderson...who have kept spirit of test cricket alive ......An icon...an inspirarion
Please knight him.
21 years for a fast bowler ❤️ What more you want 🫶🏻 Thank you Jimmy for blessing cricket with your beauty of skills.
He is the last person from the batch of early 2000 era to retire from cricket.
Thank you Jimmy, an inspiration of tenacity and longevity in cricket 🏏🏏. love ❤️ from Nepal 🇳🇵
As a fellow Lancastrian I'd love Jimmy to wear the Red Rose once more but fully respect if he decides to fully call it a day after today................. thanks for all you have given the game..........top bloke Jimmy

Champion bowler.Whenever India faced England in England he was a big big threat.Feeling bad on his retirement.Wish him good future.
Thankyou Jimmy for all you have done, not only for english cricket, but for the sport all over the world. I hope one day you are sir James Anderson as, in my opinion, your achievements in the game are remarkable and you are a true ambassador for the sport and a fantastic role model for generations to come, there will never be another like you, thankyou for the years and enjoy the hopefully stress free future, wishing you all the best and congratulations on a wonderful career, Stuart, Charlotte, Kai and Zachary Smith
😢😢❤❤ man im gonna miss you jimmy the greatest bowler
What a phenomenal player - cannot see a fast bowler ever achieving this record - Enforced retirement feels unfair (although it was a matter of time) however it is brilliant to retain Jimmy as bowling coach
Huge respect and wonderful to see Nasser interviewing who handed Jimmy his first England Cap 21 years ago !!!!
😢 Legends never die and Jimmy will always be a Legend in English cricket.
Thanks for entertaining us for so many years...
Still remember your performance in 2003 world cup...
